Getting ready for next school year!

We are finishing up our school year with @abekahomeschool in a couple of weeks, but I’m already planning for next year. Next year, we will have a 1st grader and a 4th grader! To prepare for the next year, I like to take some time in the spring to go through the materials I will need to purchase for each child and their next grade level. I do this by using the Abeka website, building up my cart, and double-checking to ensure I have what I need before I purchase. I like to have all of my materials bought in advance. This way, they are ready to be put into our homeschool cabinet as soon as our current year is over. Once all of my materials are organized, I can plan my year and make sure I’m not missing anything. This is the way I’ve been doing it for several years now, and I will tell you, it’s so much better than procrastinating! My oldest wasn’t home from college on Mother’s Day, so this last Sunday we finally got to snap a Mother’s Day picture. ❤️
