Hey there, welcome to my page Yogi-Bliss. I am a Yoga enthusiast and teacher based out of Geneva.
Conducting Group classes or private Individual sessions, if I had to make a choice, i could never!!!!!
Initial years, i tried to devote completely to group sessions, and later on to Individual ones alone... but at both instances, i missed the other π
Both have their own wonderful charm, energy and healing capacities,and gradually I have found the balance π

Here, Conducting a group session to fellow extremely skilled and involved therapists from Kusnacht Practice was an honour. These individuals bring so much health, calmness and guidance to their clients.... π
It is always wonderful to guide and be guided in a warm, loved and safe space, amid colleagues gradually building relations one step at a time. πΈ

Posture : Here, we are doing pigeon pose, which helps opening and relaxing the back, glutes muscles as you learn to let go with every exhale and let the stretch take over !

This is 4 Workshops Bundle. You may choose to part take in just one session as well.

Variations will be provided to suit everybody with general fitness level.

Hatha Yoga Session.
-Postures: synchronized with Breathwork
-Holding postures and letting body adapt and find comfort
-Postures to relax muscular tensions ( focussing on Lower back and Glutes)
-By End of Session, you will feel extremely relaxed and Stretched.
-Breathwork: to increase fire power and Awareness.
-Mantra Chanting: related to health, strength and fearlessness
-Guided relaxation
Last 20 mins of the session : we will work on Gratitude Journaling and benefits of the Habit.
11th Dec 2022 - Time: 6-7:30PM
-Trataka Meditation ( Candle Light Meditation)
-Postures: Vinyasa style flowing sequence, working on body fluidity and blockages
-Free flow movement to music
-Breathwork to calm and aid in sleeping better
-Shavasana(relaxation) to Music bowls
Last 15 mins shall be focussed on Chakra meditation : strengthening various intentions as Relationships, Communication, Empathy, Clarity...
17th Dec 2022 - Time: 08:00-09.30AM
-Postures: Heart Opening Postures to get over the crouched sitting tendencies
-Stretching and strengthening of the Torso, aided with Yoga belt where needed
-Stretches for Runners, cyclists, climbers, Tennis/ Squash players
-Breathwork to optimize breathing and improve Lung capacity
-By End of Session, you will feel extremely relaxed and Stretched.
-Chord cutting Meditation : to leave the Past and any Negative draining emotions and move towards future.
Last 15 mins of the Session are dedicated to Learning Anchoring Technique with which you can channel in any time the Confidence and Will Power to overcome any situation.
18th Dec 2022 - Time: 08:30-10.00AM
Restorative Yin Yoga
-Postures: stretching out postures with support of Props
-Learning to accept and ground ourselves
-Ending the year by releasing the Body's muscular tension and bringing in complete relaxation to Body and Mind.
-Breathwork to Balance and bring Harmony to the body
Guided relaxation : aided with spirit uplifting Palo Santo resin and Penta drum music
Last 20 mins of the Session are dedicated Goal Setting and learning how to overcome challenges and achieve them

Yoga Session in Beach for the Tennis Team with ! π
I loved teaching in this beautiful beach and nature as much as the students felt the calm, stretches and relaxation π
β‘οΈBeing in adrenalin mode doesn't help in long run.
β‘οΈWe need to remember to stretch our body and minds and give time for recuperation π

Celebrating Indian Independence day yesterday, got me being so grateful to be born and brought up there.. ππ
To instil all the faith, give me the knowledge of Yoga from childhood and what not, which I may have taken for granted in early years...π
Coming to that I was just thinking - what is Independence? What are we doing with the much better life that we now have - post Independence- speaking out to most people here, whose countries had to fight back for their Freedom.
As a person, what does Independence mean to you now?π
Are we respecting it enough, and being responsible humans??? :)
Are there areas where you would like to reduce the dependency on any factors - person, thing, media etc...
Realising that being Independent by being healthy mentally and physically, or working towards it, taking the necessary help for it, reaching out to ones who can guide - is the best gift we can give to anyone... as we grow, we make space for guiding others as well in whatever we are capable of!!!
In this life - initially we take, we are guided, we seek... and then as we evolve we guide , we give, we help others level up...
So let's make the choice to be truly as Independent as we can be ππ₯°β€
Learning to love ourself - when we achieve goals and when we are in rest period as well is very important.
Thinking excessively, judging ourselves, fixing too much importance to tasks and achievement, and feeling a failure stops us from moving forward.
We all need rest to shine brighter..
To find new arenas in life and grow..
To explore and have the courage to change..
The nature gives us these lessons everyday.. Are we hearing???.
Shine bright in peace and calm as well... we dim our inner light for none. β¨οΈπ

Hello You!! Yes you.. i am talking to each one of you personally.. β€
I have been hearing these excuses for not joining into Yoga sessions even though they are interested-
1)I am not flexible
2)I am not yet in right frame of mind
3)I cannot focus, sit still for meditation
4)It may be boring
5)I tried once, and wasn't my cup of tea
6)Doesn't work on strengthening me
I am sure I can write 10 more, however let's move to the solution..

When she did this(requires balance, Calmness, control of breath, abdomen strength) I was so overjoyed that we recorded it.. π

Almost weekend lovesπ
Here are 3 stretches to open the chest from all the crouching over phoneπ€³ and laptopsπ¨βπ»π©βπ» this week.. while you do these, breathe in and out deeply airπ¬
While we stretch the back and Hamstrings, chest openings and stretches are often forgotten.
This can show up as muscle cramp or pain near/in the chest, causing unnecessary worries.. π¨

January had been a strange month this end, with lots of quarantine and then Covid as well..
Now gradually recovering and giving love and time to heal self and try out new postures.. π€( hugs to you and self ;) )

Do you know how fast a Sunset can be?
If you have observed or run for it , you would!!!
We were in the taxi to watch the sunset - to take place at 5.22pm... just where the Duoro river was joining the Atlantic Ocean !!!
And then- we saw the sun, dipping into the waters,,, time - 5.20pm, 4 mins to destination.. you know you have to stop the Taxi now and go by the shore for a perfect finish to the Porto trip π§‘
Follow your heart... take that leap, even maybe just out of that comfy taxi - to catch every sunset, sunrise, shooting star...whatever the hell your heart wants π₯°

This impromptu ride from Porto to Pinhoa via the Duoro Valley was the highlight of my trip ,all the more special cos you have carriages where you can open the windows π

O yes, btw- The Pinhoa city shown towards end is where Port wine is produced, and for centuries the barrels were loaded into ships and got to Porto.. (not so anymore, but great to go on that journey)

I am starting short new Online YOGA sessions from 29th September - 14th October
ODD Dates? Yes, cos I have an India trip right after, however, I didn't want to postpone the plan of starting new batches anymore, as there is ALWAYS something that comes up, from making us pause our plans...hence, no more :)
New complete Monthly batches will start from 1st November once again.
The 16 days sessions are in 3 batches, and at half the monthly price.
Recordings will be shared for an additional 2 days post each session.

Funny to say, but I did use my breathing techniques, when the Bluefire coaster was to shoot 0 to 60kms/hr in 3 seconds, and silver bullet!!! π¬
And all the exercises and meditations kept us full of vigour and energy for 2 days to cover and even re-visit some of the rides βΊ

How much I loved running!!!!
And now, I love Yoga and exercises on Mat.. ππ

So in an attempt to increase my stamina, we started running again... with the perfect motivator π
However, do NOT forget - post long walks, hiking, cycling - STRETCH , it helps in making sure the Hamstrings are not tightening up.. βΊ

-a pinch of salt(removes any negative vibes :D)

If you like smeeling like a Garlic, trust me, so yummy
- heated coconut oil, added in some castor oil and garlic, massaged my scalp and hair... π
- used the ready made Shikakai, Reetha and various herbal mix to wash off...
