7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of March, April, May and June.

March 7 β€” Writing with Fire β€” On the eve of International Women's Day, we're screening this documentary about Dalit women journalists in India. Introduced by CBC-KW.

April 4 β€” Whiskey Tango Foxtrot β€” Based on journalist Kim Barker's memoir The Taliban Shuffle about her time covering war in Afghanistan, this movie serves up tragedy and comedy in good measure. Introduced by CTV Kitchener.

May 2 β€” All the President's Men β€” The classic film that inspired a generation of young journalists will be introduced by Jim Poling, editor-in-chief of the Waterloo Region Record. This screening takes place on the eve of World Press Freedom Day!

June 6 β€” Network β€” Filmed before the boom in cable news and rise of the internet, this movie is also a poignant critique of our "enragement-is-engagement" age. Introduced by Mike Farwell, CityNews.
