As per CIATF emergency meeting just today,there is a scheduled LOCKDOWN minimum of 5days for 4barangays of Tabuk city on MONDAY which includes:
Barangay Bulanao
Bulanao norte
Agbannawag
Bado dangwa
Only essential establishments will be open from 4am to 8pm.
We will wait for the complete guidelines from the city.

Patient who's Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) yielded positive for COVID-19 dies.

A 61 year old male, married and a resident of P6, Bulanao who's Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) yielded positive result for COVID-19 died on January 15, 2021.

According to report, patient went to a private hospital for consultation at around 12:10 noon time of January 15, 2021. Said patient was said to have suffered from cough and colds, dizziness, loss of appetite,sensorium changes and difficulty of breathing five (5) days prior to consultation.

Due to his symptoms, the hospital subjected him to Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) for possible COVID-19 infection. His test result yielded positive.

At around 11:50 PM of January 15, 2021, his attending physician declared the patient dead.

Based on his medical history, patient was diabetic and insulin dependent for more or less two (2) years and has hypertension. He has no known travel history or exposure to any index case. Immediate cause of death is still not known as of this writing.

Patient was buried in the morning of January 16, 2021 per DOH protocol on the management of COVID-19 related deaths.

The CLGU family extended its heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family. Mayor Darwin C. Estrañero has once again reiterated his appeal to all Tabukenos to strictly observe medical protocols and to immediately seek medical attention if Influenza like symptoms are experienced. - CIO
