The work of MHA is critical and ongoing. No two days are ever the same. But, the work we do to help our city is necessary. And we will never stop 💚

Today, an individual, needing medical care, walked into our office with their beloved pet. They refused to get the help they so desperately needed, however, because their furry friend couldn't go -- they simply had no one to watch or care for the dog.

We pivoted our plan quickly - knowing this individual needed our help. The sweet girl is now up-to-date on her vaccinations and at a boarding facility in Amherst for the next two weeks while her owner gets the support they need ✨

We know the value of pets. And we approached this situation with love and kindness to care for both human and animal.

Please keep this individual close to your heart today, as they work to heal.
