The weeklong event known as National Moth Week honors moths' beauty, life cycles, and habitats. All ages and skill levels of "Moth-ers" are invited to discover, observe, and record moths in their backyards, parks, and communities. The final full week of July is recognized as National Moth Week throughout the world. NMW provides a special chance for everyone, everywhere, to become a Citizen Scientist and contribute knowledge about moths. Through collaborations with significant online biological data repositories, NMW participants can give crucial data on different aspects of life cycle around the world as well as assist in mapping moth distribution.
