🐈 A lil’ Rory the Fe-Lion Centurion update.. he got his second round of shots today, healthy as can be, working on his leash skills, and is up to bat for a fixin’ and final vaccines in a few more weeks. 🐾

Singin’ a couple songs at the Songwriter’s Round at this past weekend. 🎵 I forgot the words to city girl so hard that I forgot that they were right! It was pretty awesome. Lol ❤️‍🔥

Thank you to for having me out to provide music for their field to fork dinner series again this year. I decided to bring a third accompanist to fill out the sound for the last supper as a thank you 🙏🏼 . It was a wonderful crowd, talented chefs, and it’s truly a pleasure to play for such big-hearted community fundraising events - the things I’ve learned! Thank you to Tristan and Daniel for the accompaniment. 🎵

My dad taught me how to make khoresht ghaimeh خورشت قیمه - it tastes like memories, spoon-fed innocence amidst conversations in Farsi, childhood, safety, warm hugs that smell like saffron, and Earl Grey and rosebud tea - it tastes like home. If anyone’s looking for me, that’s where I’ll be all week.

You wove it into us, Mom… tirelessly - thread-by-thread. Faithfully - like a tapestry - each of us a testament - every silken strand, a prayer. You wove it all in - fiercely - lovingly - patiently… like a good weaver does, and a good mother loves.

I have the best friends I could ask for. I’m very grateful. Even when I can’t attend high tea - which I sooooo wanted to go to because I LOVEEEE high tea and fancy hats, tiny sandwiches, and floofy florals - they lift their pinkies and take a photo with me! 💖 Thank you ladies. You filled my heart right up from empty. 🙏🏼
