Dear God,

Please untie the knots that are in my mind, my heart, and my life.

Remove the have nots, can nots, and the do nots.

Erase the will nots, the may nots, and might nots
that may find a home in my heart.

Release me from the could nots, would nots,
and should nots that obstruct my life.

And most of all, Dear God, I ask, You remove from my mind, my heart,

And my life, all of the am nots that I have allowed to hold me back.

Especially the thought that I am not good enough.

My 7th grader, Sade and I, holding down the Sociology, Ethnic Studies, Gender Studies, and Social Justice Studies Department during Navigate OCC! We meet so many excited students strong into their future! Sade loves college so I hope she loves middle school!

Middle school orientation and ready for the world! Keep us prayed up! Our miracle baby is 13 headed to 7th grade! May grace and mercy be with her each day and that exuberance and excitement open doors to passions and talents beyond her wildest dreams! 💯🙏🏾💕😁

Sade caught a lot of fish, but this time she was holding worms and fish. One step closer to cleaning fish and making fish tacos herself! 😂😆🤣 We really love being part of this fishing family. The Burns folks get down on the lake! Jessica Burns Sharie Favors KhasadYah Zuri'Al. Thanks Rachel and Jessica for bailing me out in the end! We caught so many fish, got low blood sugar cleaning them! I know there were over 40 fish on that cleaning table with some bass and bluegill to write home about! 💕👏🏾🙏🏾
