I’m celebrating me

I’m a baby sister to two of the best sisters
I had the greatest childhood filled with what dreams are made of
Raised by my “hero “ Dad , he left me too soon and an adoring mother who continues to love unconditionally
I became a wife to a wonderfully gentle man
I became a mother to two exceptional humans
My heart got me through it all

My heart
Exposed to lots of radiation when I was 18 because of my cancer
It never let me down
It beat strong , healthy , lovely beats

My heart
Has been sending me messages
My beautiful strong heart is tired
So this year I will be giving it some much needed TLC with 3 new golden encrusted valves

I’m in the greatest hands with an exceptional medical team
Surrounded by the power of love from my family , the greatest girlfriends , my cheerleaders.

הוא עזב מוקדם מידי, ואמא מעריצה שממשיכה לאהוב ללא תנאים,
הפכתי לאישה לגבר עדין להפליא,
הפכתי לאמא לשני ילדים יוצאי דופן,
הלב שלי תמך בי לאורך כל הדרך.

הלב שלי נחשף להרבה קרינות כשהייתי בת 18, בגלל הסרטן. זה אף פעם לא איכזב אותי, זה היכה פעימות חזקות, בריאות, מקסימות.

הלב שלי שולח לי אותות,
הלב היפה והחזק שלי עייף,
אז השנה אתן לו TLC נחוץ מאוד, עם שלושה שסתומי זהב חדשים.

אני בידיים הטובות ביותר,
עם צוות רפואי מיוחד ויוצא דופן,
מוקפת בכוח האהבה המשפחתי

This young girl in the picture is me at 18 years old. Today I look at her and see strength, hope and gratitude. I started my mission with Lala's Wings remembering myself. My mission is to try and spread a little kindness after woman have gone through a bone marrow transplant. I want them to go home feeling healthy and beautiful. During these corona times the bone marrow unit has been shut down to any visitors and volunteers, so Lala's Wings had to be put on hold. Today I got a call from the beloved Ilana Klein, a Lala's Wings participant. I was in heaven hearing her angelic voice and even more ecstatic that her PET scan results came out clean!! Hearing her gratefulness reassured me that Lala's Wings is so important for the healing process in going home wearing something special chosen with thought and care. Please remember, I need sponsors to donate a new outfit for Lala's Wings to soar. Lala’s wings is on hold due to the crises we are facing together with the Coronavirus. The ward has been shut down for sometime now to outside visitors and volunteers. It is crucial to keep the patients safe and the unbelievable staff . Once we recover I will be back with this project that is so close to my heart . In the meantime I’m reminding myself of how much I have to be grateful for and trying to do my part in healing our community by listening and respecting the restrictions . It’s not an easy time for anyone which is why we should try and be kind to one another . Kindness is an act we can all provide ! Looking forward to happier and healthier times .Stay positive and remember for there to be rainbows 🌈 there first has to be a storm . Sending to us all hope , light and gratitude 🙏
