Josh Stein’s Vision for NC. Like or Don’t Like?
My vision for North Carolina is of a state where:
Every one of us has a fair shot to succeed, including having access to strong public schools and good-paying jobs
Communities are safe from threats of gun violence and opioid addiction;
Our democracy and voting rights are held sacred by all those who serve in public office;
And fundamental rights — like the freedom to make one’s own reproductive choices — are defended.
This is the brighter future we seek for our state. And not only would my radical opponent prevent it, but he would also take us even further to the extremes.
What's your solution for building trust with voters?
IdeaLog - Public leadership Institute Recent polling shows that Republican primary voters believe Donald Trump over nearly anyone else. And yet, it’s more complicated than that. They hardly believe what anyone tells them, including Trump. Let’s look at the numbers first and then discuss their meaning.

James 5 New International Version
Warning to Rich Oppressors
1 Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. 2 Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. 4 Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. 5 You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court just ruled against North Carolina Republicans who tried to bring down our democracy:
SCOTUS just ruled against NC Republicans in Moore v. Harper, which centered around the fringe concept known as the Independent State Legislature Theory. This is a huge victory.
But let’s be very clear: Republicans will stop at nothing to undermine our elections – and state legislatures remain on the front lines in the battle for our democracy.
