Systems play a crucial role in shaping our lives and communities. Unfortunately, most systems we operate in today perpetuate inequality and injustice, yet we often accept them as the norm without question. It's time to train our minds to observe these systems and evaluate whether they truly serve the highest good for all; This is Everyday Activism. By embracing balance, justice, and equality, we can challenge the status quo and create a better world for everyone....
Challenging Inequality and Injustice: The Power of Balanced Systems Explore the importance of systems that honor balance, justice, and equality. Learn how to question and evaluate societal norms, and how embracing balance can create a better world for all.
I’ve been feeling the strong urge to go back to Atlanta. So when one of my besties had a show, making the trip felt like a no-brainer. I didn’t have a definite plan for my short visit, but I knew there were people who I wanted to see, and I had a deep desire to visit my Alma Mater. It felt weird to say that because Clark has long felt like something I did, but it didn’t belong to me. I left Atlanta abruptly to start a chapter in motherhood, leaving me with some classes to complete. I remember having nightmares that I would never finish and would never graduate. I did finish, and while I graduated, I never walked in graduation. Because of this, this place felt like a dream like it happened but hard to remember.
Yesterday was the first time I had been in this place since my departure over 20 years ago. I didn’t realize that there was something my soul was calling me back to reclaim. I sat on the grass in front of Harkness Hall, put my feet on the ground, and reminisced with dear friends about our time together. It was a completion of what I started back in 98. I collected the parts of me that I left, and somehow, it made a world of difference. Thanks, and , for walking me back home 💜💜💜

I love my clients and I love what I do💜! I still have openings for 1:1 coaching for ✨Your Radical Yes✨coaching for your transformation and ⚖️Everyday Activism for folks who desire to deconstruct internalized practices of injustice and inequality and develop a counter practice of equity, social equality and justice through their every day actions.
We all inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. These are universal truths no matter who you are. Navigating life and your goals are the same way, universal. The process is the same. You have a desire or impulse that comes from your deepest parts. You nurture that desire with positivity and expectation and then allow yourself to move toward it. This life isn't just about getting the things we want; it is also about becoming the person we want to be, and that brings the things we desire into our reality because we are coherent with them....

We have been invited to Portugal to present The Four Disciplines of Ecologically Sound Social Justice(previously known as The 4 Domains of Systems of Equality) at the 24th International Conference on Diversity in Organizations, Communities, and Nations. I wrote this curriculum in 2021 to provide my clients with a roadmap or consistent, practical application for implementing social change practices. These actions are rooted in values, holistic, action-oriented, trauma-informed, and responsive, and now I get to share my work in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2024! My focus and goal are to build a world that works for us all.
It is a wonderful thing when you realize that just being you is enough! You can bring the gift of you into the world and KNOW that you are supported in showing up AS YOU.✨🪄💜🙏🏾
I support people in transformation. I educate organizations about how they can be more heart and human-centered in their work and their policies and procedures. I love my body and make sure that it feels tended to. I spend time with my kids and help them feel connected to themselves and others. I hold positivity and light for people who are going through a difficult time. I create space for people who have felt the sting of marginalization and oppression and support them as they navigate their healing. I practice the values of Oneness, Equality, Goodwill, Belonging, and Integrity. I model connection with my inner guidance and trust in Spirit. I lovingly remind people that they are supported by the universe. I support and celebrate those who feel unseen and misunderstood. I bring people together & create authentic relationships across differences. I bring healing to my Humanity. I remind people that they are supported by the universe. I lovingly help people get their sh*t together when that is what is needed to make the world a better place. I am committed to becoming more of me, the best of me and never less than me!

In honor of the 59th anniversary of Dr. King’s “I Have Dream” speech. thanks for issuing this challenge to all of us who are dreaming and working to create a better world! May we be encouraged and confident that our dreams will come to pass!
I have observed that many folks think DEI( Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) initiatives are about getting more "minorities" in their organization/ team. (I'm not too fond of that word, but that is a topic for another article). Others seek to use their initiatives to gain awareness and demonstrate social sensitivity. Though well-meaning, these motives illustrate a lack of awareness around why focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion is beneficial and necessary to every part of your organization's functions....

💫Easy like Sunday morning. 💫Spelling out my future. One of the best ways to stay positive is to be intentional about choosing and practicing your emotional baseline. How do you want to experience your life. I desire to feel inspired, grateful, joyful, peaceful, benevolent, creative, healed, whole and abundant. Let’s talk about abundance for a second. Abundance isn’t about money. It is knowing your every need is met, that you lack nothing. That you are supported by all that is and above all that YOU ARE WORTHY and ENOUGH. It is not enough to say or write these things it is about practicing and living this as your truth. When we choose our baseline we are in control of our lives, we are no longer reacting to life we are creating it!
Here is why assessing your team/organization's workload is essential to your DEI initiative.

Everything is Remarkable
To love people you must not only accept them, but you must see them and learn how to affirm and celebrate them just as they are. Today is Transgender Day of Visibility 🏳️⚧️ No one should feel unseen, unappreciated or unsafe simply because of how they exist.
If you are feeling challenged by this post ask yourself why. Trans people are people and they deserve to be seen, represented on TV and in books. They have the right to live their life as themselves, fully expressed! To my Trans family, know you are loved by and can find support in me.
My kids love this book and so will be reading it to them again tonight. It is a reminder to them to treat others with love, dignity and respect. Everyone is worthy to be celebrated never forget that!
This is a sign that hangs on the main entrance to my kids’s middle school… words matter.
If you feel this is an impossible task, I invite you think be inspired by possibilities not limitations. One of the major excuses is “we don’t have the time” or “Is it really possible to do this for everyone?” Here’s the truth we make time for what is important to us and It is absolutely possible if we MAKE IT a priority!
When we begin to think of all humanity as an extension of ourselves we will find the time and resources it will be a priority to make this a reality for everyone. It doesn’t take much in fact it simply requires for us to be inspired to dream possibilities and release our ideas of separation and greater than and less than. All we need is:
🧠 A mindset shift that there is enough
🚨 A greater and urgent awareness of our interconnectedness
💜 Empathy that embodies that we are one
👁And insight into how this way of living will drastically shift our capacity as a society to reach our highest potential.
The worlds problems have answers, solutions. We have been trying to answer them with one eye covered and 2 hands tied behind our back. It is time we as a humanity as an earth ecosystem to become fully aware of ourselves and see the possibilities and stop limiting ourselves.
No one has your magic💫 Believe that!
There is so more to unpack around this, but it is a step. So consider How might you participate in this system of thinking personally and participate in systems that support inequity.
I am excited to be invited to my home state to speak on Holistic DEI Values and Integrity at MPI-NJ MEETS. I will be sharing part 1 of 4 from my 4 Domains of Creating Systems of Equality curriculum. How do we practice the values of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity with Integrity in our personal and professional lives to create new systems that will work for us all. This is a journey, a daily commitment to honor our common humanity.
Far too often we think that in order to lift ourselves we must depreciate others. I am here to tell you we rise by lifting and validating ourselves, we rise higher when we learn to lift and validate others.
