Last week I had the absolute JOY of visiting the Templeton Girls Club as a special guest! 🥰💖

I performed & shared my story as an artist who used to think I wasn’t good enough (for SO LONG 😩), to now getting paid $350 for a 15 minute set! 🤯🔥✨

It’s honestly the kind of story that I WISH I could’ve heard when I was a teenager! 🥹💖 (crying as I write this tbh 😭)

You can truly do whatever you want in this life, as long as you put in the time & effort to develop your craft, and you BELIEVE in yourself ❤️‍🔥 you’re golden baby! 💛✨

Of course, truth be told, I’m not a full time artist- but that doesn’t make my story any less valuable. 😌

Embodying Holy Mother Energy 🙏🏼✨

Going to Catholic school thru elementary & high school really influenced the way I carried myself for the next decade.

Over the course of 12 years, the church thrust SO much programming onto me… Innocent child that I was 💓

And as a high achieving Virgo, constantly striving for perfection, for the highest ideal in every aspect… well, I struggled.

I tried SO HARD to BE GOOD in the eyes of God.

This ideal of the Virgin Mary, this holy mother, somehow untainted by the sins of carnal pleasures…

I tried so hard to embody that, and I felt so much GUILT and SHAME when I “failed”. (And failure was inevitable it seemed, hello original sin 🐍😩)

But I’ve reclaimed it in a whole new way now. ✨

I can see so clearly how I do embody this Holy Mother energy.

How I nurture the children I work with, and my friends and loved ones with a LOVE that flows forth strong and pure ❤️‍🔥

And I can see how the Holy Mother energy is nothing, it is INCOMPLETE, without sexuality 🔥✨

I can finally see that the 2 “opposing forces” are actually not conflicting. Embracing your sensual nature helps you embrace your own divinity!

They are 2 sides of the same coin.

The Virgin Mary
And Mary Magdalene

I wouldn’t want to be one without the other…

And I COULDN’T fully be one without the other.

My sexuality doesn’t make me sinful, it makes me HUMAN.

AND it makes me a CREATOR 💫✨

I don’t just mean the ability to give birth - although that is AMAZING, obviously!

My body and spirit are constantly creating life, creating art, every second of every day. I am a manifestation machine ✨

I bow down to the most holy temple of temples I have ever known…

My sacred vessel, swirling with sacred geometry and frequencies my feeble mind can barely comprehend 🙈🧠✨

My body is sacred.
But not the way the church taught me.
My body is sacred…
My body IS my church 🙏🏼💫✨

I AM A MOVEMENT MEDICINE WOMAN 🔥✨

Allow me to explain, if you’re curious as to what I mean. (And I’m sure you are)

When I am dancing, I am offering medicine to myself. I am allowing my body to express whatever I am feeling. I am moving emotions and energy through my body. I am alchemizing my shadows and fears. I am embodying a bigger more free version of myself that I wish to become - THAT I DO BECOME via DANCE 🔥✨

When I am performing I am offering medicine to those who WATCH. When I am really FEELING IT 🔥 you can feel it too.
I know you do ✨ even if you’re not sure what you’re feeling… my movement makes your brain stop thinking it makes you drop into the present, makes you forget what you’ve been ruminating on (wasn’t even important probably.)
It makes you feel like moving.
My movement MOVES YOU 🔥

When I am training, I am giving myself medicine. I am listening, moving with clear intention and love. I move slowly, and I push hard, not in a masochistic way, but in the way that gets the blood flowing. I send my life force 🩸 to the places that need it most. To the places that were so disconnected they couldn’t even cry out for my help… I bring dead muscle tissue back to LIFE💀🦋✨ I create new connections ✨

When I am teaching you, in classes, workshops, 1 to 1, I am teaching you how to give yourself that movement medicine, in whatever capacity. I am breaking it down, feeding it to you, in hopes that it helps you feel more ALIVE, like it has helped me feel more alive ❤️‍🔥

That is my mission here 🙏🏼✨

I protect their head when they try to hit it against a wall.

I make sure everyone is safe, then I wait it out, as the kiddo releases all their anger and frustration.

And you know what I tell them?
It’s OK to feel angry!

Expressing your anger is HEALTHY!!!🔥🔥🔥

It doesn’t need to be a shameful thing!!!

As long as you’re expressing it in a healthy way! ❤️‍🔥

Yeah so I took a lil IG hiatus last week, still on an unstructured gradual re-entry program (designed organically, moment by moment by me lol 😌).

It’s been… 🎢🎢🎢 up and down, as life always is. But I definitely noticed the dopamine addiction, wanting to check my phone then remembering there’s nothing to check.

The next thing I noticed was the space…
The space expanding in my brain and in my body.
Sometimes it felt luxurious, sometimes terrifying…
Staring into the void can be like that 🌚✨

You never know what you’ll encounter when u lean into the void that is inner space 🪐✨

Sometimes poetry flows forth, sometimes fears and heavy feelings 🖤

Be it light or dark, it is all sacred and it is all for you 💐

Here's pt 1 of a note I meant to post before the workshop... better late than never 😌😘:

When I was a tiny shy child, I used to watch Sailor Moon on TV. I think I enjoyed it so much because I could relate to Serena – she was a total crybaby! But she was also the leader and could kick Negaverse butt!... and get caught up daydreaming about crushes 😍 I had the crybaby and romantic parts down, but it took me about 20 years to start cultivating the leader in myself. Letting go of old fears and insecurities and starting to truly believe in myself has been one of the most transformative processes of my life so far. Little Marina would have never guessed how much hula hoops would help in that process! Hooping made me feel like a beautiful space princess, powerful and confident, exploring new realms of movement and flow. It was only a matter of time before that mindset started to shape my whole identity. I chose the handle “” from the very start, with no doubt I could live up to the name - nothing felt more right. And you bet Orbit Princess was partly inspired by a nostalgia for sailor moon!

I wish to share some of Sailor Moon’s simple yet timeless wisdom with you all through this event, and hopefully inspire you to believe in your own magic – for that is what makes it real. 🌙✨
