Meet “The Crew”!
One of the most common questions people ask is, “How do you all know each other??” Well here’s the story!
Jenny (red shirt in the illustration) and I (yellow shirt) have been friends for 9 years. One day, she and I went into a local coffee shop owned by one of our good friends, Mara. Mara told us that the day before, my supposed neighbor, Kenny, had come in to the coffee shop for the first time since COVID and it was so good to see him. We told her we didn’t know who he was, but she said if we ever saw him in town that we’d have to meet him because his personality is contagious.
Well, lo and behold, the very next day, as we were walking in town, I spotted a scooter out of the corner of my eye. Sure enough, it was Kenny! So, Kenny, Jenny, and I sat in the coffee shop for hours getting to know each other. Jenny talked about how her dad, Jerry, who had just moved to Minnesota. Kenny was ecstatic to meet him and ever since then, they hangout almost daily. All four of us see each other a couple times a week, if not more. THE CREW! 🙂
Insider Scoop: Kenny served on the United Auto Workers union for many years when he worked at Ford. Now, when the four of us have little meetings to catch up on happenings, he calls them the Local Union 2347 meetings. Any guesses as to why we picked those numbers? 🙂
