JATO 2023

Meeting of Opportunities in the Rural Environment of the Province of Cáceres (Spain), March 24/25/26.

What is Jato?
Originally the word "jato" (with "h" aspirated), coming from the Castilian language, refers to a cloth bag that is prepared with clothes and food to leave home for a few days. It refers to the origins, tradition and identity of our rural environments. It is a term widely used in the popular jargon of our villages and counties when we refer to prepare "all the essentials", "pack our suitcase" or "take our belongings" to move from our villages to the capital of the province, Cáceres, thus offering its visitors and citizens "the best we have" in our rural environment, showing the treasures that are hidden in these spaces, their way of life and the possibilities of leisure and business that we have.

Jato is a meeting to show the opportunities that the rural environment of the province of Cáceres treasures and the possibilities of employment and quality of life that it offers to its population, based on welfare and social, economic and environmental sustainability.
This event breaks stereotypes, making known all the human capital of our land, its talent, creativity, energy, vitality, wealth, tradition, innovation capacity and alternatives for the present, progress and future.

Through Jato, competitive projects are presented, capable of generating stable and quality jobs, thus showing that our towns are full of life and possibilities, since Cáceres is a province that is committed to the prosperity of people, offering alternatives to live, coexist and build a family, personal and professional future, in any of its corners.
