MR Kamdon Boi bagged a bronze medal in Inter University Games 2023- 24 ,Kanpur and he qualified for the all India University Games 2023- 24.
Arunachal Pradesh Judo team comprising of 18 members (7 girls, 8 boys & 3 officials) will be participating in the Sub-Junior National Judo Championships 2023-24 to be held at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Kochi ,Kerala from 15th to 18th December ,2023.
Shri Gumnya Karbak, Director, Sports Authority of Arunachal interacted with the Judokas & officials taking part in the said games at Conference Hall of Sports Authority of Arunachal today and he advised to the Judokas to play fairly with the sportsmanship spirit & bring laurels for the state. The team flag-off program was also attended by Shri Tagru Magong ,Acting President Arunachal Judo Association , Shri Rahul Mipi, Secretary General Arunachal Judo Association and Shri Tai Abu Treasurer ,Arunachal Judo Association.

Bengia Tani won a in men's 67 kg category in the event of the 37th in Panaji, on Thursday. He lifted 121 kg in sn**ch and 156 kg in clean and jerk for a total of 277 kg.
I am thrilled to learn that our very own weightlifter, Charu Pesi, has clinched the prestigious Gold Medal in the 61 kg category at the 37th National Games held in Goa.
My heartfelt congratulations to Charu Pesi on this achievement and wish him all the best in all his future endeavours.
Looking forward to many more victories for Arunachal Pradesh in the ongoing National Games.
