Honesty…

A word we use to refer to our interactions with other people… But how often are we honest with ourselves?

Honest about what we want?
Honest about why we do the things that we do?
Honest about the steps that we’re “going to take” to achieve our long term goals?

I heard a quote once that really stuck with me… “9 out of 10 lies that we tell are 6 inches away from the bathroom mirror”

Think about that…

Because if you can’t find the time to sit and be honest with yourself not about what you want, but WHY you want those things… you will never have them.

For me, it was always freedom. I never cared much about money, but I wasn’t happy in a job with a schedule. No matter how much I made, my life was the same - repetitive… boring.

So I left it behind to start my own business. I had the freedom to go where I pleased, but somewhere along the line I got so caught up in the margins that the experiences were put on the backburner, and I never used the freedom I worked so hard to earn.

Recently I was given an opportunity to use that freedom. I was worried my business would suffer, but in fact it had the opposite effect. My productivity tripled, and I learned a valuable lesson-

THE REWARD GAVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO REMEMBER MY “WHY”

And even though I worked less hours, the hours I did work were filled with a tenacity that I hadn’t felt since I started.

The key (and really the point of all this) is to say that business goals are important… but they’re not the end, they’re the means to an end.

Whatever your business goals may be, I would hope that they exist because they lead you to achieving your life goals… The ones that actually make you HAPPY (whatever that word means to you)

Patience is key, but remembering your why is even more key… I believe in you to get there kings🫡🫵🏻👑

The work doesn't stop just because it's the weekend.

The work doesn't stop because we are tired.

The work will never stop, and that’s a privilege.

As 1099 employees we work for ourselves and no one else, but that comes at the cost of always being switched on.

This should not scare you away, it should motivate and attract you!

I see it every day with my clients, they work hard in all of their business’s aspects but then they start to neglect their own health and importance.

I mean how can the systems you build as your own business owner run, if the architect of those same systems hasn’t insured his or her health.

Healthcare in it of itself is a very complex topic and I don't expect many if not all of those seeking it to understand it to its fullest extent.

At the end of April, some close colleagues and I started making the transition from working with lead vendors to generating our own leads through social media based marketing. At the time we were just going off a theory, and had no idea if what we were attempting would produce meaningful or sustainable results.

Two months later, and I'm ready to say with confidence that this has changed my business in a meaningful way, but even more than I thought it would.
The goal was to connect with more potential clients, but what we stumbled into was something much more meaningful... the ability to connect with people more easily on THEIR time, by becoming a fixture in the community, and prioritizing PROVIDING VALUE over generating sales.

When I heard that, it affected me on a deep level, and I knew that there was a lot of wisdom and power in that statement. To apply that on a simple level... Give.
Give time and time again... without being asked, and without expecting anything in return.
This group is going to be my attempt to encompass that ideal…

So starting today, I am going to be sharing Episode 1 of a new webinar talking about what we have been working on for the past 2 months!!
Episode 1 is going to be a deep dive into FB & IG advertising- with the main topic being everything inside Meta Ads Manager- How to create ad campaigns, how to read metrics, what types of ad campaigns have been working to generate certain types of engagement, as well as a full walkthrough on creating a new campaign from scratch!!

I put about 9 hours over the weekend into filming, and editing this video, so please please please give it a look. I know it's long- If you already have basic setup experience you can fast forward through the parts you already know. I highly recommend watching the last 10 minutes of the video, as that is when we talk about detailed targeting, which is one of the most powerful part of advertising through Meta!

Last thing... The only way this grows is word of mouth, and the more people we bring into the community, the more people we have to learn from. I don't want to speak for everyone, but I know that for me personally... I have a lot to learn.
