You'll see us flying around in this aircraft for a few days while our regular helicopter is receiving some regular maintenance and inspections. Same great crews, same excellent patient care, different paint.

We hope everyone had a Safe and FUN Father's day weekend! We were invited to the Doyle Township Fire Department Open House, which took place on Saturday, and had a great time showing everyone the aircraft.

Camp 911 builds community relationships in Munising Camp 911 is a three-day youth camp to spark interest in teens for various first responder career paths.

Guardian Flight provides speedy care for UP rural EMS response Guardian Flight specializes in medical transport from rural and remote areas to larger facilities with a helicopter in Escanaba and fixed-wing aircraft in Houghton, Iron Mountain and Ga***rd to service the U.P. and down state.

Guardian Flight clinicians participate in quarterly skills training with our Medical Director. This quarter was focused on Trauma skills. Check out our crews training on surgical airway, chest tube insertion, and other interventions!

Thank you for all the support and love you have shown the Air Evac family during this difficult time. It is with a very heavy heart we share that three of our colleagues, Pilot Russell Haslam, Flight Nurse Adam Tebben and Medic Steven FitzGerald passed away in an air accident on the evening of January 20. Please continue to hold all of their families in your hearts. Russell, Adam and Steven, we miss you so much. We’ll take it from here.

Air Evac Lifeteam is heartbroken to report that three crew members have perished in an incident that occurred on Saturday, January 20. At 11:23 pm local time AEL's Operations Control Center (OCC) lost contact with the aircraft, a Bell 206L3 with call sign N295AE. The crew is based out of Weatherford, OK, and was returning to base after completing a patient care transport in Oklahoma City when the OCC lost contact with them. Nearby AEL teams assisted local law enforcement with the search.

Our primary focus is on supporting the families and our team members. CISM teams have been sent to assist our team members during this time. Please reach out if you would like to speak with them.

At this time, we are not sharing the names of the crew members aboard the flight. We ask that you respect the privacy of our team members and their families, and please do not share their names.

AEL has turned over the scene and investigation to the NTSB.
