💙 November is Diabetes Awareness Month!
Busy Bee 🐝 was diagnosed with Type 1 Daibetes 6 years ago at the age of 3. So she has decided to make diabetes awareness bracelets to help raise money to donate to JDRF to help find a cure to Type 1 Diabetes. All profits for these bracelets will be donated!!
Help raise hope that someday we can live in a world that doesn’t involve constant finger pricks ☝️, middle of the night blood checks 💉, and freedom to splurge on some holiday goodies as they please! 🍪

Hello all! Thank you for being patient as we introduced a new little ba-bee to our hive! 🐝 It’s been busy preparing for the little one’s arrival and a long wait but we have been soaking up the cuddles. Busy Bee has still been working hard and has some specialty bracelets for the month of November! Be on the look out for a post later today!

Thanks for being patient with your orders! Busy 🐝 has been very busy with orders and soccer and school! After a 12 hour day of traveling and playing two games she still managed to come home and roll 90 beads!

There are so many lessons to learn in an artistic process. It can be demanding, frustrating, exciting, enjoyable, and surprising! Busy 🐝 is learning so many things this year that can’t always be taught out of a book. Learning to not be too hard on yourself all the while being disciplined enough to stay focused on goals can be confusing for a 9 year old, but we are getting through it and enjoying the hard work she is putting in!

Hi! Welcome to Busy Bee's Beads!

I want to start by thanking you for supporting a small business! Not JUST a small business but a business ran by a small person! She is 9 years old and is in the process of learning about business and what it takes to be an entrepreneur. As a homeschooled family we like to teach our children real life lessons and put them to action. So...We are starting the year strong by starting her off with a business that she is responsible for from start to finish. I will, however, be next her the whole time either cheering her on, keeping her on track, or helping her learn a new lesson as her business grows.

By buying a bracelet you are supporting the dreams of a young child who wants to save for college! (amongst other things as you'll read below) You are contributing to her education and her drive to create a strong work ethic. And for that I thank you!
