A good lash tech will stock a variety of lengths. In this instance I stock C curl, which is a flatter lash for natural lashes that point down so that the downward lashes are disguised. I also stock D curl (most popular) for a more dramatic effect. Colour lashes (not popular at all) even though I’ve had them in stock for more than a year 😂 Classics are still available upon request. If you also require a certain set, I do customised lashes. Happy long weekend to you all near and far!!

Lash shampoo for lash extensions helps with retention and long lasting bonds between the lash extension, the glue and the natural lash. The lash foam shampoo reaches hard to see places, cleansing the area of any oils, residues from makeup, dirt and more.

When to use eyelash shampoo?
After swimming in the beach apply foam cleanser, followed by tap water. This reduces clumping of volumes from salt water.

After swimming in pools with chlorine.
Applying foam cleanser will rinse out chlorine and reduce bonding disintegration.

Recommended for all makeup use and removal.

Best advice from one to another: Book your infill once your set is completed. My 4 month old is precise on pick up time 😅

✨If I religiously get lash extensions when do you recommend a new set?
✍🏼Every six to eight months
To ensure natural lashes recover from constant eyelash extension use, eyelash extensions should be removed every six to eight months to allow the eyelid line to be thoroughly cleansed after the months of make-up build-up and bacteria, and also for the natural lashes to grow and thicken.

I thought it was about time to put a face to the name.
My name is Shania, I’m 23 🫶🏼
I started this journey in 2018, I had always been passionate about all things beauty and knew from a very young age this was something I was going to pursue! From doing my friends makeup most weekends, eyebrow styling in the bedroom to now owning my very own business working in a studio from home.
I did my lash training in 2018 with who I have to thank for this amazing journey, I couldn’t have asked for a better person to train with. A few months went by and I decided it was time for a certification in Eyebrow styling and Henna application. I now offer Lash extensions, Brow styling and Spray tanning! I have rebranded from Shania Rose Beauty to The Lash House. I can’t wait to be able to offer more services which is currently in the works 🤭 I’m beyond grateful for all the wonderful woman I have been able to meet from this journey and for all the support for my small business.

Tuesday rainy tip: Eyelash extensions are waterproof but don’t take this statement at pure face value, because it doesn’t mean you can drench them all the time and expect to have wonderful eyelashes every time. They will stay waterproof in moderation. It’s like having a waterproof case for you phone. It does protect it against water but that doesn’t mean every time you see water you should test it! Waterproof eyelashes are made more for use during showers and baths, and for being outside in the rain. However, they weren’t developed for excessive swimming or sauna usage. Keep dry on this wet day ladies

To be primed and prepared for your wedding this summer If you're planning on getting eyelash extensions for your wedding day, proper planning is key to ensuring you're happy with the results. That may include playing with different looks and getting the timing just right. "There are several looks that can be achieved with lash extensions, including a natural look, cat eye, or hybrid, which consists of both individual and volume lashes, adding that a bride should absolutely do a trial. Please book ahead and be prepared as my spaces in summer in-fluctuate accordingly leading towards this busy season.

As ever, I want to continue to provide the best service with the best quality and valued products on the market. Although I have tried my best to keep prices low. My operating costs have increased significantly due to global factors in recent times and stock prices have risen dramatically. And so, from the 16th of September there will be a slight increase on all new sets due to inflation on market products and an increase in overheads getting into the studio for an appointment.

The change will be effective from Monday 19th September. Till then, you can take advantage of the old prices.

If you have future appointments booked these will not be effected by the new price change.

So that my regular ongoing clients can benefit from this please note that this policy applies to new sets ONLY, infills will remain the same price.

This technique involves 3-8 lightweight extensions, which are applied in a fan shape to each natural lash. The Russian volume technique creates an intensely voluminous lash set with a soft, fluffy look. Because the fibres used are so incredibly fine, they tend to last longer than classic eyelash extensions.

Volume lashes are really wonderful for those with naturally fine or sparse lashes because you can have a much thicker look without the extra weight. I hand-make all volume fans during the application for better retention and a softer feeling.

Please be careful of unqualified operators that use flare/cluster lashes advertised as ‘volume lashes’. Flare lashes are not individual eyelash extensions or volume lashes and are not meant to be applied using permanent glue. The results are usually disastrous.

Ladies if you ever need validation for your lashes here is justification. Pray for girls like us who are sensitive to lashes 😭 Todays work had abit of a twist to it in the studio. I did this experiment where I insisted a few clients look at their eyes with lashes and without.
