Double-ring Top
Deconstructed from the traditional undergarment, the Double-ring Top reimagines the halter to a ruched asymmetric garment with wooden rings on its sides, an Inflowing signature. The fan-favorite silhouette is paired with bell-bottom tights, lightening the look.

ASYMMETRICAL CUT-OUT DRESS
Deconstructing classic tailoring items extends beyond the classic silhouettes themselves. In the Asymmetric Cut-out Dress, lapels are turned into the bodice with a contrasting draped skirt, creating a dynamic design to adorn the body.

Tailoring is an integral code to C.DAM’s garment-making techniques. For Inflowing, we explored how the silhouette of the classic blazer could be subversive to a wearer. The Deconstructed V-neck Blazer subtracts the lapels and buttons in favor of metal clasps with extended straps that drapes the back.

The Grain Lacquer Bag is an artisanal creation made by local talents in Hanoi, Vietnam. 3D-printed and painted with the finest of materials, the one-of-a-kind pochette comes in Ink, Muted Chartreuse, and Iridescent Milk, and remains archived at the C.DAM studio.

THE SINGLE-RINGED JERSEY DRESS
THE SINGLE-RINGED JERSEY DRESS As men and women labor away on rice paddies, mud and water of the land weighs their attire as the day passes. The weight of the garments are carried as the day ends. Gestures of carrying the garment are imbedded throughout the collection, with wooden rings assisting the movement while adding textures from its material. Crafted in cotton jersy, the bias cut garment moves and molds to the body of the wearer, forgoing the weight of the dress and allowing for pure sensuality in the cut.

INFLOWING VIDEO CAMPAIGN The team at C.Dam and partners ventured across parts of Northern Vietnam in search of an authentic representation of the geography. Sites were guerrilla scouted and shot over the course of 48 hours. First premiering at the Inflowing fashion show, the film was presented as a part of the Inflowing Exhibition. The fashion film contextualized the collection's inspirations, from grasslands to hidden caves, going to the root of the looks and the cultures it was born from.

An agricultural society, Vietnam is built upon the foundations laid out by the rice grain. By exploring oval silhouettes and details, the shape is ingrained into the C.Dam design philosophy. Garments are made with structure and form in mind, reflective of C.Dam’s architectural roots, creating polygonal aspects without sacrificing movement. From bags to 3D-printed, hand-painted artisanal show pieces, and small homages to the shape, the grain is reimagined through a contemporary point of view. Our story continues. See you in August.

INFLOWING Fashion Show | VIDEO RUNWAY INFLOWING Fashion Show was held in an international art space, conveying a core theorem of traditional values and contemporary spirit. Beginning with the soulful serenade of Ngo Hong Quang, the grain vessel opened revealing 39 looks on the catwalk against an avant-garde soundtrack, blending traditional instruments and futuristic synths. Under the guidance of Director Thanh Chu, the show reads like an art installation, with a rhythmic combination of sound, light, and fashion full of movement and emotion. ------------- INFLOWING Fashion Show được diễn ra trong không gian nghệ thuật mang đậm tính quốc tế, truyền tải thông điệp về giá trị văn hoá và tinh thần đương đại. Mở đầu show là tiếng đàn bầu và giọng hát của nghệ sĩ quốc tế Ngô Hồng Quang vang lên, phi thuyền bật mở, 39 người mẫu lần lượt bước ra, catwalk trên nền nhạc đương đại kết hợp nhạc cụ dân tộc. Dưới sự dẫn dắt của Director Thành Chu, Show diễn như một màn sắp đặt nghệ thuật, với sự phối hợp nhịp nhàng của âm thanh – ánh sáng – thời trang. Sự tương tác nhịp nhàng giữa ánh sáng, thời trang & âm nhạc, tạo nên một màn biểu diễn nghệ thuật đầy chuyển động và cảm xúc. #CDAM #INFLOWING
