A step towards “Model-driven construction planning & scheduling” approach to construction planning, a radical approach compared to the conventional way of drawing up Gantt charts from zero.

That's a wrap! Day 2 of workshop conduct at SIT completed!
The session was an absolute blast, and especially more hearing commendations from the participants themselves.
The workshop was tailored to MEP applications for students from the Building Services Program, and designed to help participants learn by building practical projects during lab sessions they can find relevance to as an MEP Engineer. The following were the topics covered by the 2-day conduct, 3 hours each:

Finally back with some updates on AECTech's Computer Vision package, had a hard time getting this function to work but I think I might finally be onto something! It's far from perfect but we will continue to find ways to refine it!

While developing Computer Vision functions in our custom Dynamo package, I was reminded of the benefits that Visual programming brings to users.
When I stumbled into OpenCV in python at the beginning, I was simply coding along with tutorials… not knowing the significance of most input variables.
Now, using Dynamo as a Visual Programming platform, users can simply use a number slider to help us quickly grasp an intuition of each input variable. Which then allow users to determine suitable values for each!
