We are pleased to have this beautiful Dietz No. 2 D-Lite to offer for sale. This lantern was made in 1935, in Syracuse, New York. You won’t see many of these available. This was a lengthy and fun restoration. I wish these lanterns could tell me their history. Lantern has a brand new 7/8” wick. The 7/8” wick models give you an estimated 12-14 candle power. Guesstimated thermal output 1400 BTU per hour. This lantern has been tested. Price is $100 plus shipping. We do ship our lanterns, packed carefully. If you are bothered by the smell of kerosene just add a few drops of pure essence oil to lessen the smell.
