After becoming disillusioned by the current product offering for home aging of spirits our team set out to, and have, developed an alternative. Our “Whiskey Lab” home aging product gives the aging results of a 50 gallon barrel on a home scale. Proportions of fluid volume to wood surface area are equal to that of a 50 gallon barrel. A removable and replaceable Barrel Head enables infinite reusabili
ty. A view port enables viewing the changes in color of the spirit as it ages and an easy pouring spout enables easy transfer of the spirit into a glass or bottle. The product offering includes barrel heads in American and French Oak, with four different toast levels and three different char levels. Purchasers can order a complete Whiskey Lab with their choice of wood species, toast and char or order only a Barrel Heads in any toast and char combination. Whiskey lab comes with a scientific notebook to track contents and record results. Whiskey lab is designed, tested and approved in Portland Oregon.
