Recently, our team had the opportunity to meet with a group of farmers at Ekumfi Narkwa in the Central Region. We were thrilled to hear their positive response to our plans to develop a mobile application that will aid farmers in diagnosing crop diseases and linking them to extension officers.
The meeting was an essential step in our development process as we got to take input from the farmers themselves and understand how they would be willing to accept a technology like this. We were impressed by the farmers' insights and suggestions, which have already influenced our design decisions.
The meeting also gave us an opportunity to understand the challenges that farmers face and how our mobile application can address these challenges. By connecting farmers with extension officers, we can provide them with timely and accurate information that can help them make better decisions about their crops.
