My name is Laura and I’m the person behind Texan Christmas. My most rewarding roll in life is being wife and mom to this crew. They are my reason for everything I do.

I am a recovering corporate fashion and tech professional and am so grateful to be able to pursue this new business venture to help bring balance back to my life.

Owning a business is hard but I get to manage my own schedule and prioritize what is most important while including my crew in everything I can. All while making product I’m unbelievably passionate about.

Fun fact: I managed a smartwatch brand for 5 years and still to this day won’t wear a smartwatch. Don’t think that one was my passion 😂

I recently just applied for a sponsored by which aims to invest in mom owned businesses. How cool is that!?

My goal is to use this grant money to help grow this little company and hopefully continue to offer new and exciting products beyond even ornaments every year. We have so many fun plans!

Hello Monday. Let’s take this week by the horns. 🐂

For all my buyers heading to Dallas Home and Gift market you are invited to Christmas in June!

Come by the 11th Floor High Style Star Buyers Party and Buyer Power Hour on Thursday June 20 from 1-2 to be the first to get pictures with our one-of-a-kind TEXAN SANTA.

Bring your friends, grab a cocktail, and act like a kid again with the best Santa this side of the North Pole.

For everyone else, look out for pop ups throughout the Lone Star State this holiday season where you will be able to get your picture with the Jolly Texan too!

Thank You Round Top for some fun and inspiration! I love meeting so many incredible ladies living out their dreams and making awesome product I genuinely love! I feel like I have this whole new crew of women I get to look up to.

Just wrapped up a great first half day at Blue Hills in Round Top! Where should we go next?

Texan Christmas is heading to Roundtop for general fun and shopping but also to scope out the best spot for us to (hopefully) be at in the future!

I will have samples in tow if any of our retailers or friends want to check them out in person while we are there.

Hope I get to see some familiar faces!

If you can’t tell from bluebonnets making an appearance on at least 3 of our ornaments this year, I 💙 bluebonnets.

Spring is springing in Texas and it brings me so much joy and new energy!

I caught a few Texas natives showing off their blooms today on my morning walk:

Want to know more about the Texan Christmas star? It is a combination of the Lone Star and the Star of Bethlehem.

We want to show our Texan pride but also never lose sight of the real reason we celebrate Christmas.

You’ll see the Star of Bethlehem in our logo and the gold pattern on our packaging. It’s our constant way of reminding us that Jesus is the reason for the season. ✝️
