Day 1 in Dubai - I stayed at Andaz Dubai The Palm and enjoyed everything about this hotel and resort. The staff provided the very best service from the doorman to registration to the restaurant hosts and servers. My room was comfortable, clean and tastefully designed. I was able to check in early (around 12 noon) and use the spa facilities upon arrival (around 9am). There was private beach access, as well as nice outdoor and indoor pool areas.I already miss the staff. Everyone was so full of joy and extended every kindness. I would definitely return!

Day 1 in Dubai: Wisked through the airport by Ahlan Services by Dubai International Hotel. Their Premium Meet and Greet services upon arrival .adequate me feel like a VIP skipping the passport control lines, retrieving my bags and getting to my private car to my hotel. And the drive through downtown Dubai was beyond Scenic! Thank you Arabian Adventures for arranging this spectacular itinerary!

Final day of the Signature Travel Network Conference in Vegas! Really informative this year! Over 2,000 travel professionals from advisors to suppliers (hotels, tour operators, destination specialists, cruiselines, airlines, tourism departments). There is even a supplier Space Perspective sending people into space in a more sustainable way (no rockets), and without needing to be a gazillionaire!

There are so many new hotels (like Conrad Los Angeles, cruise ships (like Royal Caribbean International Icon of the Seas) and destinations opening tourism (like SaudiArabia)!

Great humans in this industry providing services that provide travel experiences specially tailored for you.

Nothing says luxury like the majestic Hotel Imperial, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Vienna!! I met the archivist while touring, and he showed me guest books with signatures from the Queen and Brittish royals, Michael Jackson (the only guest to sign two consecutive pages in duplicate), all the classical music stars, Joan Collins, Diana Ross, Alfred Hitchcock, to name a few. It was fun seeing these historic spaces and having one of their famous cakes! Thank you Christina O'Toole for the intro!

I enjoyed visiting the Aria Hotel Budapest by Library Hotel Collection - each wing has a musical theme (contemporary, jazz, classical, opera), there are weekly performances and a SkyBar with panoramic views of Budapest. Luxury with a touch of fun!

Budapest has some lovely hotel properties, including the Corinthia Budapest - such an incredible value for a 5-star, with spacious rooms, amenities, good location, awesome breakfast and professional staff. Can't wait to return to Budapest for a stay here!

Day 4 in Croatia (part 2): Made it to the spectacular city of Split, a hip and historic destination with something for everyone. Our select group of advisors surveyed the artsy and elegantly tasteful Heritage Hotel FERMAI hosted by Calvados Club Luxury Travel - Croatia & beyond

We then had a spectacular seafood dinner at Makarun Split - lobster and grouper so fresh and well-prepared that you wouldn't believe!

I am really looking forward to getting acquainted with Split. It has the energy of a happening city and the charm of Old Europe. Really something special.

Day 4 in Croatia: Calvados Club Luxury Travel - Croatia & beyond hosted a trip to Nacionalni park Plitvička jezera / Plitvice Lakes National Park - waterfalls, beautiful trails and crystal clear green water make for a unique and enjoyable visit.

Day 3 in Croatia (part 3) - Sheer surprise and delight from our hosts Calvados Club Luxury Travel - Croatia & beyond and Ikador Hotel ! The Fiat transfers from Volosko to Opatija incited pure joy - but not to be outdone by the most luxurious Riva boat ride through the bay to the stunning Ikador Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa! The property was immaculate and the staff paid attention to every detail. Dinner at Ikador was delicious! Our hospitality host Ivan surprised again after dinner with a dessert in the Ikador's Presidential Suite! It was a day to remember and share with all of you considering Croatia as a destination.

Day 2 in Croatia (part 2) - Fellow travel advisors hosted by Calvados Club Luxury Travel - Croatia & beyond visited two incredible hotel properties in Rovinj: Grand Park Hotel and Hotel Monte Mulini. And we bumped into Mark Wahberg!

Day 2 in Croatia: Our select group of traveler advisors visited Rossi winery in Istria, hosted by Calvados Club Luxury Travel - Croatia & beyond - Phillip Rossi (age 22) provided 5-star hospitality as we sampled wines from his family's vineyard - including wine aged underground of the sea!

Just arrived in Buje, Croatia: Day 1 of a familiarization trip hosted by Calvados Club - The journey started yesterday evening when I flew from Baltimore to Altanta, then Atlanta Venice, Italy (9 hours) arriving this morning. A small group of fellow travel advisorsand I were transported by private car from Venice to Buje. We drove through Slovenia witnessing green olive groves and the Alps in the distance. Passports were stamped across the Slovenia/Croatia border with ease (Jan 1 there will be no border to clear!). We arrived in Buje in 2 hours (very fast) to the beautiful San Canzian Villiage hotel.

Greeted by our hosts Zoran, Suzanne and Zeljka, we were escorted to a terrace with breathtaking views of the property, provided some refreshing drinks and got acquainted. My group included advisors Clare (Cincinnati), Heidi (Atlanta), Christina (Pittsburg), Tesa (New York), Michele (Connecticut).

We had a short break. I hit the sauna, whirlpool, took a quick trail walk and a looong hot shower, before joining the welcome reception and an overview of the property. There was much, much wine!

We then were treated to a most elegant 4-course private dinner. Wine paired with each course and food sourced hyper locally. This was a most definite high point!

San Canzian Village & Hotel is situated in a medieval village surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and untouched nature. It is a 5-star boutique hotel with 28 units ranging from superior rooms to three-bedroom villas.

I am staying in the original building, over 300 years old (well, the interior is super modern) with a large terrace boasting panoramic views. So much space, charm and luxury - immediate peace and relaxation washes over you.

If you are looking for a new destination or a true getaway to refresh and re-energize, I highly recommend Croatia, and a stay at the stunning San Canzian Village Hotel.

Currently visiting Los Angeles and experienced a most enjoyable, comfortable stay at the newly reopened Fairmont Century Plaza. Its enduring elegance, classic style, superior service and a wonderful central location, make this historic property a best kept secret on the scene. Each room has a balcony with impressive city views, a nice variety of amenities, high quality bedding, and plenty of space.

Its new French restaurant, Lumiere, serves an incredible breakfast! You are walking distance from the fabulous Westfield Century City shopping center, which has even more amazing restaurants to try.

Both the fitness center and spa are huge! State of the art equipment is available with a comprehensive, integrated wellness program.

My favorite aspect of the stay was interacting with the attentive staff, from the valets, to doormen, to concierge, front desk to housekeeping. All impeccable.

I highly recommend Fairmont Century Plaza for any visit to Los Angeles. I thank them and you will thank me!

The small group travel experience to Ghana has been enriching and fulfilling. We have spent time in villages outside of Cape Coast, Elimina and Kumasi. We visited slave castles reminding us of the strength of our people who endured and survived great hardship. It has been a time of reflection, celebration, education and fellowship. Beautiful West Africa!
