I believe "The basics" of diversity start with recognizing and understanding there are and will be differences in others, this is easy to say by most, but not often acknowledged by action, in valuing, respecting, and appreciating these differences, through acceptance, acknowledgment and the freedom of expression, this is the start of inclusion, this should stand true as long as the expression doesn't cause harm or loss of life to others. This is the basics because without truly understanding this as the foundation of Diversity, there can be no Inclusion.
We need to learn and apply "Critical thinking" and express a mature degree of "Emotional intelligence". Not being perfect to an expectation or not being the same is not an error in the design when it applies to people, it's called being human and it can be and is beautiful.

In recognition of the last month May 21st World day for Cultural Diversity for dialog and development day, I created this short video with SAGE Poland and SAGE Global English students to celebrate this event and to help raise awareness to a much-needed topic of discussion in such a needed time to help create a deeper understanding of diversity.

Truly practicing the basics of Diversity & Inclusion starts by focusing on and ensuring that an inclusive culture is practiced in our everyday behaviors, demonstrated and expressed by organizations and companies on every level.

Openly recognizing organizations, companies, and individuals is a fantastic way to encourage more participation and for others to take part in a more active role. In the past few years, many have been confused with the topic of Diversity & Inclusion because of the mistranslation, misinterpretation and it’s sensitivity, but it does not and should not be a taboo conversation. Open Dialog is a must.

We would like to compliment some well-known companies and organizations in Poland that should be recognized for actions moving forward in this new era by addressing the issues of Diversity & Inclusion and are trying to understand the business and social applications of it in the workplace, MICROSOFT, GOOGLE, DELOITTE, KPMG, and The EU Platform of Diversity Charters.

The best way to describe what we do is that we put the theory of Diversity & Inclusion into practice through education, company training, workshops, events, implementation of programs, and consultation.
