Meet Miss Laniecia.☀️
Miss Laniecia assistant teaches in our 2 & 3 and 4 & 5 year old classes.
“I grew up in a family with 13 children and was always surrounded by younger children, over time I grew to love taking care of and helping children In the best ways possible by helping out with my siblings and others kids. All through out my life I loved school and learning and I’ve always loved helping kids learn things as well. During my high school years I developed a passion for teaching and decided I wanted to make it my career. Once the opportunity to work at Let Them Grow arose, I dropped everything to be able to begin my career in early childhood education.”
Meet Miss Camilla!☀️
Miss Camilla is the founder and director of Let Them Grow. This year she has taken a step back from teaching and spends most of her time working on the back end parts of the Preschool and continuing to improve our school and expand our curriculum to make the preschool the best it can be for all of our students.
“I was first introduced to the Montessori method and practices when I moved to China at 18 years old to teach English at a preschool in Zhongshan. While there I observed and was moved by the independence, skills, and capabilities my students had from the ages of 18 months - 4 years old all because they were given the freedom to be able to learn those skills while also learning about the world around them and academics, I also thoroughly enjoyed having the freedom to formulate my own curriculum and create the lessons i taught while working at the preschool, and I later received my International Montessori Certification.
It has been a true honor to open up the preschool and work with so many children and their families. Whether your children were past students or are currently enrolled at our school I have deeply cared for all of my students and their families, and I am so thankful for the opportunity you all have given me to live out my dream by entrusting us with your children’s early educational years. I have grown and learned so much right alongside my students, and continue to learn things each day which help me to further improve the education we provide. I hope to be able to someday expand and provide more opportunities for children everywhere to be able to receive an education style that is different from the norm.”
Meet Miss Alex!☀️
Miss Alex assistant teaches in our 2 & 3 year classes, and occasionally in our 4 & 5 year old classes as well.
“I have always wanted to work with kids, and I love being able to assist them with learning new things and watching them develop a love for learning. Before working at Let Them Grow I taught at a local outdoor nature school and what I have seen in my time working with children is that they learn better with a hands-on approach while also having the freedom to choose what and how they learn. What I love most about the Montessori method is that it gives them the ability to do just that.”
We love having Miss Alex on our team at Let Them Grow!
Meet Miss Kaylee!☀️
Miss Kaylee is lead teacher for our 2 & 3 year old classes, and helps out in our 4 & 5 year old classes as well. Miss Kaylee has been with us ever since we opened nearly 2 years ago and she is adored by all. We feel so lucky to have her on our team at Let Them Grow!
“What led me to wanting to be in a Montessori environment was when I had my daughter, I wanted to be able to let her be independent and be able to choose how and what she wants to learn. I love the Montessori method because it creates more learning opportunities for children. I have always loved working and being around children, as I cared for children in my family and have also worked in local childcare centers that have led me to seeing how children love to learn.”
Meet Miss Ella!☀️
Miss Ella works as an assistant teacher in both our 2 & 3 and 4 & 5 year old classes.
“What led me to work in a montessori setting was the children, I have always loved working with and caring for them, I love the idea of hands on and child led learning! I truly believe children can learn so much more by doing things hands on and allowing them to have the independence to choose how and what they learn! I also love that through Montessori we are able to teach kids things that they’ll be able to use in the real world!”
We love having Miss Ella as a part of our team!
Meet Miss Anna!☀️
Anna first discovered Montessori when she began working as a teaching assistant at a Montessori school in Salt Lake City in early 2018. She was immediately inspired by the philosophy, and went on to receive her AMS Montessori Teaching Credential through
Westminster University in 2020. Since then, she has led classes ranging in ages 0-6, at several well known schools in the Utah Montessori community. She is actively engaged in continuing her own education as well as teaching others, and has presented multiple times at the Utah Montessori Councils educator conferences.
We love having Miss Anna as a part of our team at Let Them Grow, and our students love her just as much as we do!
