Let's start this Friday off with some GREAT NEWS! Joshua Newman of Newman's Power Sports is sponsoring the P*e Wees class at Tri County 4 Wheelers so the first 50 entrees in the class will get to race for no charge! If there is money left over it goes into the class payout.

The P*e Wees class at TC4W is for ages 5 and younger, a $2 entry fee, and it's power wheels only race to the 60ft mark.

I just got off the phone with James Shelton at Sheltons Dirt Drags UNFORTUNATELY Mother Nature has won again and we have to CANCEL the race , the weather looks good for mid Friday and Saturday but the parking area is completely saturated, the track will need a lot of work as well.
The major concern is trucks, haulers getting stuck in the parking area and we do not want to damage any vehicles trying to get them out , also everyone knows that James takes pride in his track prep for you the racer and he feels that with the condition of the track as of now it would be tough to give you the idea track prep that he is know for !!!
We are talking about a reschedule date but at this time with all the other races that are planned at other tracks we are not sure if that will happen

In this episode of Paddle Talk, we have a lot to cover. Casey Lawyer crashed at the Mud Racers Association-Public Page race. He's okay, thankfully, but that crash was nasty. Second, Eric Fleming wrecked at the Blair Bedford Dirt Drags race. A long way to go, but we hope he's okay. We have the ongoing situation with Northern Power Race Park. Apparently there are some questions about the payout at their record reset, and people aren't happy.

On a brighter note, we also have a lot of race previews for you. The Southern Powersports Drag Racing Series is headed to Sheltons Dirt Drags. Silverback Offroad Speedway has a 2-in-1 race coming up, the Thunder Down Under and Christmas in July. The Franklin County 4 Wheelers are having their 4-H Fair Race, and Newtown Dragway has a truck race. So, if you're looking to get your sand drag racing fix, there are plenty of options in the near future!
