Writing melodies that actually sound good is hard, but it's even harder if you don't know where to start. Here i have a list of scales and modes i personally use to write my own music. I love that you can use all of these scales to create both a happy uplifting vibe but also some hard hitting bass bangers.
Of course there are a lot of other scales and modes out there and i will be discussing more about them in future posts.
What are some of your favorite scales and modes? Which ones do you use the most for your tracks? Let me know ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Struggling with anxiety in a toxic environment where people don't have any kind of awareness of how they impact a certain person with their actions or inactions is probably the hardset thing in the world. At least it is for people who have social anxiety and are in the music industry (Entertainment Business in general).
I was one of those people that had anxiety problems, mostly because back in the day i used to be a quiet kid, who played the guitar and just didn't fit in anywhere really. No one really gave me support and coming from a town where people are brain washed to the point that anything that isn't the 'standard' is considered ugly, weird, stupid, it really wasn't easy. Not for me, not for the countless others around me.
I was always taking the easy way out, i'd stay out of conflict and i would keep to myself. Honestly, those were the worst things i ever could have done to myself. Thankfully i got out of my own bubble. 3 years ago i wouldn't have taken a picture like this, but now i love doing it. I ain't the prettiest looking fellow, not the smartest either, but at least i am fully aware of that. But i don't care and neither should you.
We can't beat anxiety. We can't escape it. We can't hide from it. All we can do is continue on, no matter the road ahead or behind. We are way more than our face, skin, hair, clothing and way more than just living beings. We are eternal energy that manifests thru our bodies and we should be anxious about something that is not even important? I don't think so.
Get up, go into the masses, let them judge you, let them belittle you. But remember, none of that matters as long as you keep your head up. You are here for only a second. Your energy is here forever. So don't let the voices of a few (please use a more appropriate word) ruin the time you have on this beautiful planet.

Sometimes we can get demotivated when labels reject us. Especially when the rejections start piling up. But instead of taking those things to heart, we should look for ways to grow ourselves without the help of labels.
Many people think that labels are the only way to ever achieve success. To grow and to reach a bigger audience. Yes, they help. They help a lot actually. But times are changing and right now we are seeing the slow demise of certain labels.
Why so? Well, people are realizing the power they have in their hands with the endless possibilities of the internet. They don't want someone to own the rights to their own music. They don't want someone to control them. To dictate their life.
We and our music are more than just products. We aren't something to just market and make money off. If you see yourself as that, that is fine with me. But i want my music to have an impact, i want people to dance and enjoy themselves. To feel sensations they never felt before. So what are some ways we can grow without the help of labels? Is it possible?
Hell yes. Growing has never been easier. And only because of one thing. The INTERNET. It's your best friend or your biggest enemy and that only depends on you, on the way you approach it.
Use it to:

- Learn Marketing
- Learn Production
- Learn Business
- Learn Branding

4 things that will help you beat any growth a small to medium label can offer you. Produce. Brand. Market. DIY Label work at home. But remember, don't spam!, that is not marketing (This goes to the story bots. Here is a big middle finger for you idiots)
Also, don't buy stupid eBooks promising you success, everything you need is already out there. Just take a deeper dive.

Have faith in yourself even if no one is supporting you. Sometimes you will be the only one that can see the bigger picture. So keep going, no matter the support. Keep making bad music, keep writing s**tty melodies, keep writing bad lyrics. Eventually you will start creating stuff that sounds good and you will reach a pro level.
Now, for all the people that follow me and scroll past my posts without liking my content or supporting me (or end up visiting my profile to stalk me), keep scrolling di*****ds (Middle Finger Visualized). One day you will be congratulating me and asking me for support on your tracks, but i know the few real ones who will be getting my love back and trust me, it won't be you.
Support yourself even if no one else is there. Be your own biggest fan and have faith in your success. Remember that once you go into the dark even your shadow leaves you. So don't be scared to flop, to fail, to be in the dark. Only then will you see the one who won't ever leave your side.
Are you annoyed by people who follow you but don't support you? Who just look at your profile or stories without ever liking one post? Let me know ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Don't let the fear of being judged control you or your decisions. No one ever achieved anything by staying inside their own comfort zone.
Step out, be bold, be crative, experiment, do whatever you want. But never let yourself be controlled by fear of judgment. People judge only because they hate the fact that they can't live the life you live. Free of mental barriers and full of views that span way over the horizon.
The reality is that we will all eventually die, so live the life you want, not the one someone else expects you to. Make music, make videos, quit your s**tty job and go after your dreams. But always remember that success awaits at the other side of fear.
What was your biggest fear? Did you overcome it? Let me know ⬇️⬇️⬇️

You might hear people say you can't make it in music without knowing music theory, i say that is pure bu****it. Especially if you make any kind ot Electronic music.
Of course you can't really make a living out of it if you don't even know the raw basics of how scales and chords work, but with just the basics you can go a long way. Look at some of the biggest artists who had just the basic knowledge and what they managed to achieve. (There is a s**t ton of them, look it up).
Here i have a few terms that are crucial for you to learn in order to become better at music. I promise you if you learn how these work, your music will elevate to another level. (DM me if you need help with these terms)
In my future posts i will go more in detail on Scales, Chords, Etc. If you guys have any suggestions for other post ideas feel free to let me know in my DMs or in the comments ⬇️⬇️⬇️

A man that quits on his beliefs, goals, visions or ideas because people around don't support his work is no man at all.
Sometimes going against the current isn't a bad idea. Especially if the current is flowing directly into the depths of nothingness. The same goes for music and life. People follow the trend, we go after what is popular. Even tho we now have oversaturated markets with the same exact products labeled under different names and 'genres'.
Don't buy into it. Let the trends be whatever they want to be. Create your own trend and follow it. If you feel it, if it feels good, do it. Make the track you like and you'd want to listen to. Create your own product if you do not like what's on the market. Do it and don't look at the trends.
Step outside the bubble that's soon to burst and create a world for yourself to dominate in once it does. With the internet as the most powerful weapon of our time in your hands, you don't even need much to be the trendsetters of tomorrow.
The choice is yours ⬇️⬆️! Where are you heading? up or down? Let me know ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Your music is never going to be good enough for people to check it out. It might even be better than some Pop standard songs, but it just won't float to the top. You know why? Because music is a product and it's always easier for gold to sink to the bottom than it is for that piece of crap to float to the top. There are a ton of great artists that are at the top, don't get me wrong. But we have a lot of stuff that if we as small time producer sent in to labels, we would probably be blocked for life.
But somehow those people are famous making millions and we are sitting here, reading this, sad and probably a bit depressed because of it.
But why? Why is it like this?
One word. Marketing.
Marketing is the single most important thing all those famous people do and we can't. We don't have people with millions on top of millions to push us and our agendas, right? Wrong!
There has never been a better time for us to start marketing ourselves. Marketing yourself with spam bots, using story bots, paid spotify promotion, "organic growth" Amazing stuff, right? Wrong!
None of that s**t will make you famous or popular or push your music anywhere, let alone your career. Honest, true and real connection is what is going to push you to the edge and then instead of letting you fall down into the abyss, you will float up into the sky carried by the wings of the people you supported and built connections with.
Connect. Interact. Help. Support and don't ask anyone for anything. That's actual marketing without anyone selling your data to 3rd parties.
What methods do you use for marketing? Do you know any ways to promote yourself for free? Let me know ⬇️⬇️⬇️

The music business is hard to crack, success is impossible to achieve. The market is oversaturated. You won't succeed. There are too many people doing the same thing. At least that's what they want you to believe.
One thing they never tell you in all the tips that they put out is that your image/brand matters half as much as your music does. If they see you as a potential brand that can easily be marketed, labels will promote the f*** out of you. If they see you as someone who is spammy with basically no marketable features, you will be avoided and blacklisted.
Your music matters only as much as your brand in todays world. So make yourself marketable, think of the big picture, dream of selling your own shirts, sneakers, hoodies, whatever. What is a good name for those things? What sounds good both as a brand and artist name? Always think bigger and look at the bigger picture.
Brand yourself to be marketable and your music will see the benefits.

Your goals and dreams will mean nothing if you don't enjoy the process of achieveing them. It's not the destination that will make you happy, it's the ride. The path everyone takes doesn't have to be yours, sometimes crossing the boundaries of fear can be your ticket into a better future.
Both in music and in life it's the same. If you are scared of doing something because someone else is not going to like it, you won't get far. Your music doesn't have to sound the same as everyone elses, your life doesn't have to be the same as everyone elses, your path is only yours and you should only look forward.
You are the change that you were always waiting for, you are the trend setter of tomorrow, you are that future superstar waiting to be found, but you will never be any of that if you trap yourself in a bubble.

Work hard for your dreams unless you want to work hard for someone elses.
Focus on your dreams and don't let anyone tell you it's impossible. It's only impossible if you quit.
Feed your mind with positivity and eliminate the people that are holding you back.
Think of yourself as a universal hard drive that can read and learn anything. An open and clear mind is capable of achieving anything. But if you infect yourself with malware or even worse ransomware you won't ever make any progress to where you want to be. Don't let yourself fall into the traps of mediocrity. Take control of your own mind before your mind takes control of your life.
Thoughts spark ideas, ideas spark action, action sparks advancement. If you think about negative things and get negative ideas, what do you think your life is going to look like?
Avoid the hate, leave the negativity behind and focus on detoxing your mind from the things that don't advance you towards your goals.
I know what i'm talking about because i was the guy in these paragraphs. My whole life i was stuck in a bubble that was way too negative for me to make any advancements, but no one could help me and i was really frustrated because of it. Hell, i didn't even know what it was. Until i realized that i was supposed to be the one in control.
The hardest thing i ever had to do was to beat myself. Tricking your own mind into doing something that you are not comfortable is probably the hardest thing you will ever do. But you gotta do it.
Are you stuck in a negative bubble? With no real improvements? It's you. No one else! You are sabotaging yourself. Your mind doesn't let you leave the comfort zone as it's scared of losing the grip it has on your life.
Remember, it's always you. If you can beat yourself, there won't exist a goal too big for you to achieve.
Stop blaming others and start working on yourself, your mind can be either your best friend or your worst enemy, what will you choose?

We all need to start somewhere, so your first step can never be the same as the first step someone else has. He might have had it better than you in life and he might even succeed faster than you. But that doesn't mean that you can't. Nothing is ever set in stone and success is only ever guaranteed to those who focus on the things they want and work their ass of to get them.
Are you broke? Out of a job? Not able to make any money? But you want a good studio and a good life as a music producer? You are reading this from your phone, you probably have a laptop or pc close by. There is your job opportunity. Dedicate yourself to learning something new. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Knowledge is right in front of you. Learn, advance and start making money. Find something you can master and dedicate yourself.
In a few months or years, you will start being able to provide for yourself and start working on the things you want.
If you need to make music your side hustle for a while, fine. But do so because you want it to eventually be your main hustle.
