We are so excited to welcome a happy, healthy filly to the Salt Creek family! Barn owner, Melinda, decided to breed her beloved mare, Grace to the very talented Jardonnay VDL. Everyone we worked with at was absolutely amazing, and Grace took on the first try! We all have been anxiously awaiting her arrival and this morning we got the call from the amazing vets at Petersen & Smith that she arrived!! We can’t wait to meet you little one!! @ Ocala, Florida
SCS Clyde Z jumped all clear rounds for the second week in a row here in Tryon! Words can’t explain how overwhelmingly happy I am!! We ended up champion this week on top of winning the stakes class! Clyde will now get some well-deserved R&R and ALL of the carrots 💗

Nenuphar’ Jac is a BEAST!! .jessee.horses piloted him flawlessly to their first win in the 1.25m Jr jumper classic last week!! These two will go very far 💙🖤💙
Gone Girl Z and Grace Zdravko had an amazing show last week stepping up to the 1.20m for the first time! They even ribboned in their first Jr class out of a competitive group! I’m very proud of both of you ❤️

The top photo is of Caraszini at our first show together one year ago, and the bottom was last week jumping his first 1.25m. This progression makes me so happy and proud! We are very lucky to have Melina and Zini in our program. 💕

Melinda Robinson’s lovely young mare, Ember in the 3ft green hunters at HITS Ocala
I am so proud of my students this weekend! Arabella and Zander laid down amazing trips with good ribbons in the 3’3” equitation divisions and had a solid round in the 1.0m ch/ad class. This picture perfect pair continue to impress me every time they compete. Sarah had a great show in the .90m ch/ad classes - it was her first show in the jumper ring and she did it aboard the seasoned champion, Quick Son 😍. Quickie was so happy to be back in the ring after a year off. I can’t wait to see what these two accomplish!!
We are so lucky to have this special mare! Every time she steps in the ring she gives me 110% 💙 thank you to everyone who supports us at home and at the shows!

Some highlights from CFHJA last weekend. I am so proud of all of my riders and how well the SCS horses jumped this weekend!
Practice makes perfect! Melina and Zini have been putting in the hours to achieve this textbook form at home! To top it off they both performed well under pressure at the show! These two are definitely ready to move up when we go to Tryon next week!
Look at those happy faces!! Maddie and Dino had an amazing weekend starting at the 1.05 and finishing with the 1.10. Sunday they finished 2nd in the 1.05 - Dino also gave Haley a fun ride on Friday finishing 3rd with a double clear round in the 1.05!
The horse and student with hearts of gold 💛 their last-minute decision to come show this weekend payed off! Taylor and Chance had a very consistent weekend ribboning in every class from the 1.05 to the 1.15!
I'm so proud of this special pair for how well they performed this weekend! Grace had her first win in the 1.05m and moved up to jump her first 1.10m where they finished 3rd!! The future looks bright for these two!!
We wrapped up the weekend with Caraszini finishing second with Haley in the 1.20m classic Sunday at CFHJA. Melina and Caraszini finished 6th and 4th in the 1.05m. We are looking forward to taking this pair to Tryon next week!
