「快乐」看似一项与身俱来的技能
但那些开怀大笑我怎么都学不会
是不是很奇怪？

心情若也不是非乐即悲
那处在灰色地带的我，会有同伴吗？

就带着平平的心情继续走着
拾荒的日子里
希望哪天可以捡起一件让我感受快乐的东西

There are times when we find ourselves in a state of emotional limbo, where we are neither happy nor sad, just hovering somewhere in the middle. It can be confusing, it almost feels like being stuck in a loop, unable to move forward or backwards.

In this space between joy and sorrow, the search for happiness can feel elusive as we struggle to define what exactly it is that we’re searching for. We may feel as though we’re scavenging for happiness, picking up scraps here and there, patiently waiting for the day when the missing piece is found.

这是《拾荒快乐》间奏的长笛solo🤍

今天来分享一下我学吹管乐的旅程～

我对吹管乐的兴趣其实是从小学开始的，还记得小学时全部人都被逼学的乐器recorder吗？小学的时候就被我的音乐老师——陈杰业老师拉进了校队吹tenor recorder，到处参加合奏赛，每年还能比到全国大赛去！

其实那时候对音乐也没什么想法和热诚，直到上中学了就在想，不如就继续玩乐器吧！就这样参加了循人中学的华乐团，跟陈捷老师大师学起了竹笛😆😆就在那段时间，我对音乐的热诚才爆发。我开始学吉他，开始唱歌，开始写歌…

上了大学后，我又再继续加入大学的华乐团了，不过这次有点不一样，那时候Nottingham每一年都有在办舞台剧，所有音乐都是现场表演，那时候来自西班牙的指挥对中西合并的概念非常热诚，每一年都一定要华乐团和西乐团和在一起演奏。可是就在演Les Miserables舞台剧的那一年，西乐团的没有一位吹长笛的想参与演出，没办法之下，指挥竟然让我在一个月内学会这个我没碰过的乐器去演出！！压力之下，我真的做到了哈哈哈！（其实也是有竹笛的低吹长笛也不难啦）

今天的我没想到，几年前last minute学的乐器会在我的首发单曲派上用场。几年前的我，也没想到今天的我终于要发单曲了吧🤣🤣

What I'm playing here, is the flute solo for "Scavenger"'s interlude🤍

Now let me share my story of my journey in playing wind instruments🤓🤓

Remember during primary school when everyone is forced to learn the cute lil recorder instrument? That's when I started getting involved in wind instruments. My teacher dragged me into the school's recorder team when I was 8, and from then onwards I've been following the team to many different competitions!!

So, when I started high school, I thought maybe I'll just do something similar. There isn't any recorder team in high school, so I joined the Chinese Orchestra team, andd that's where I started learning to play the bamboo flute, alll the way until university.

But there's something different in university, basically they have this annual stage play drama where the Spanish conductor insists of having both Chinese and Western orchestra together for the live music of the show. On the year we played Les Miserables, no flute players from the Western orchestra are willing to join the show, which meansss I'm the only solution left, forced to learn a new instrument for the show, and little did I know that right here right now I'll be using this skill for my debut single 😆😆
