📍| Sewing project 1: Bible Cover
Story behind the project:
I grew up watching my mom be a creative wonder women.. With a needle, a tread and some glue... She transformed any space into a room filled colour, patterns and laughter. Clothes to big? Mom could fix it. Something to expensive? Mom could make it. Want to wear something bold? Mom would < always > encourage it (and even sometimes sew it).
Project 1 is very dear to my heart because due to a freak accident. My Bible's cover got ruined. I was heartbroken.
So we took things into our own hands this project came out so precious ♡

why did I start ?
Most students understand the joy of 2 min noodles and late night assignments. We also understand this scary question... "But what comes next?" "What do you want to do when you finish your degree?"
(A secret from us to you. Nobody knows EXACTLY).
BUT, we are finding our footing in the new, fast and changing world! 🌍
Ietsie Mooi was created by me to fund camera gear and equipment so I can pursue making films, documentaries and videos. My wish for you is to feel "soos ietsie mooi" in wearing these items. Because you are ietsie mooi ♡.
