Beginning at 4pm on Monday, September 11th, families that have evacuated to our area due to Hurricane Irma will have the opportunity to receive a free, hot meal at the Doster Community Center thanks to the generosity of Blossman Gas.

Around 600 meals will be prepared and served to these families, we encourage everyone to come early. “Our city saw the generosity of people several years ago when we suffered a tornado and now it is time for Prattville to give back,” said Josh Register, with Blossman Gas. “We are a caring community and we need to step up and help these people in a desperate time of need.”

We will do that by bringing awareness to healthy eating programs, highlighting opportunities for education attainment and keeping up the fight for equality.
