It is my intention that this page be a sanctuary - a place of inspiration, encouragement, ideas and intelligent discussion on all things regarding self development, self esteem and self empowerment. Our daily lives offer up lessons and growth. None of us are immune to having the wind knocked out of our sails by the daily grind but we must strive to combat dis-empowering thoughts and beliefs and r
eplace them with empowering ones and to re-frame our experiences to empower ourselves and offload our emotional baggage - keeping it to hand luggage only! - so we are free to live the lives we were meant to live. You are responsible for yourself and your behaviours, others are responsible for themselves. So, live for yourself and remember that when someone wants to bring you down or treat you as though you are 'less than' its not because they *actually* think you are 'less than', its because they want YOU to think that about yourself, so they can control you by defining you in ways that are damaging to your self esteem so they can manipulate you into trying harder to please them, rendering them 'important'! They need you to play that role because it serves them! This is their issue, not yours! Remember, No one defines you except you! Share your successes and trip-ups here. None of us are immune ;)
