Daddy isn't home yet so we decided to sneak in some holiday spirit real quick before he gets back! (Dad doesn't allow us to officially celebrate Christmas until after Thanksgiving)

Cake, presents and a play date at the park. We had about 20 friends show up to play with the birthday boy! They enjoyed their little cupcakes too. 😃 It was a great day to celebrate our 3 year old!
Kyzer boy turns 3 years old this Thursday! Since Mommy & Daddy work that day, we took him out on his own birthday celebration date today.
Naturally, he wanted to go swimming and we thought it was well deserved. He had a blast at Dogmode! We can't wait for Lyza to recover well enough to join him at the pool next time.
Then we wrapped it all up with a Puppichino from Beans & Brews!
I sure hope our baby knows how loved he is and how much we appreciate him and his patience while we tend to his sister's medical demands. He has been such a good camper through it all. ❤ The least we could do was take him out for his birthday! Can't believe he is almost three. 😳

Kyzer spent the day with his friend Scout while Lyza and Mommy adjusted to the post-op life!
Lyza got to go on her first "walk" since the accident. The wagon took some getting used to, but now she thoroughly enjoys it! She was so happy to just be outside for longer than a potty break. After such a busy activity we are settling down with some mental stimulation using the lickimat. 😊

Trying to take it easy is hard work for little puppies. Good thing she has the best big brother to remind her to stay down, even if all he wants to do is play too. 💔

Our Kyzer-Bear has no such thing as personal space these days. Lyza-Loo has become absolutely obsessed with him. 😍
Little Lyza is our vocal one! Her high pitched howl. 😂

Training time!
We've got "sit" and "shake" mastered, but Kyzer is still trying to show Lyza how "lay down" and "leave it" works.
She wanted nothing to do with training a few weeks ago, so we are making huge progress! 🎉
