Club President, Joe Skvarla is featured this weeks Flyer Faces!
On his 18th birthday, Joe Skvarla didn’t purchase a car like other teenagers. Instead, he bought himself a fishing boat! His passion for fishing led him to start the Bass Fishing Club.
“It's great being in college and being able to compete all over the U.S. It's a lot of fun, but at the same time you really have to have a business mentality. Luckily, I’m able to have 1-on-1 time with my professors and I can ask questions and bounce ideas off of them. They have a lot of experience to share.” - Joe Skavarla, sophomore transportation, distribution and logistics major.

Not too shabby of a job from Zach and Joe out on Kentucky Lake this week during the 2018 FLW Open! Rough weather and fishing conditions made for a tough tournament! The boys were able to boat 6-14 good enough to finish in 86th place out of 216 boats. That puts them in the top 40% of boats! Joe was able to boat a 5-4 Largemouth despite the conditions! Go get em in April guys!
