"I have known Dave most of my life. I worked with him on joint community projects when I was a Westfall Township Supervisor and he was a Matamoras Borough Councilman. He has always followed through on his commitments. He has done an outstanding job with the Pine Grove Cemetery and developing a Veterans section as well. I believe that Dave will be an outstanding District Magistrate. He definitely has the credentials for the position."

A warm thank you to Tim Leonard, a member of the Matamoras Municipal Authority Board of Directors, for your endorsement of Dave Clark's campaign to be your next District Judge. We appreciate your support!
Dave Clark brought a very special (albeit a bit unorthodox) gift along on a recent visit to Rivers Edge retirement community: a PennDOT-compliant Stop Sign! It turns out that the old stop sign at one of the community's busiest intersections next to Dave's Pine Grove Cemetery was white, worn, and weathered, making it very difficult to spot at night. The residents were all very grateful, and it's nice to see that the sign (paid for with Dave's personal funds) has already been put in place! Dave is grateful for his Rivers Edge friends who have always been so supportive of his efforts to revitalize Pine Grove for Pike County's residents.
Commitment to community is a family value for the Clarks; Gary Clark - former Chairman of the Milford Township Board of Supervisors and Dave Clark's brother - can attest to that!
Dave and Gary (and their other siblings) grew up in Matamoras under the watchful eye of Bill and Janet "Mama" Clark, both of whom made sure their children understood their responsibility to their neighbors. Dave has always been committed to his community, working hard to embody what it means to be responsible to your neighbors and act with compassion and care for others. Even Dave's baby brother agrees: Pike County won't find a stronger candidate for Magisterial District Judge!
We are so proud to have the support of Mark Madsen, a Democrat who served on the Matamoras Borough Council with Dave Clark for several years. Mark has seen firsthand Dave's ability to put aside party views to ensure that everyone on the Council worked efficiently to improve the lives of our neighbors. Mark, a military Veteran, has also worked closely with Dave over the last eight years to bring Pine Grove Cemetery back to life, and to develop Pike County’s first Veterans cemetery. We thank him for his steadfast support in Dave's campaign for Magisterial District Judge.

Mark Madsen, former Matamoras Borough Councilman:
"As a former council member and a current board member for the Pine Grove Cemetery, I have been asked to say a few things regarding Dave Clark. When I was first elected to the Matamoras Borough Council, Dave stepped forward to help teach me the processes of local government. I would joke that since I was a 'D' and he was a 'R' lightning may strike the room we were in. Dave did not let this get in the way; he just wanted to ensure that every member of the council was efficiently working to improve the lives of our neighbors.
His generosity of spirit extended well beyond the council, however. There were many good things that took place in our community because of Dave’s efforts, including the revitalization of the Pine Grove Cemetery. Over the last eight years, I’ve been proud to work with Dave to clean up the cemetery and, as a Veteran myself, to develop Pike County’s first Veterans cemetery. Dave and I did most of the work with our own two hands, and Dave put in his own money to cover any expenses not addressed via the generous donations from others in this community who were impressed with the work taking place there. Each weekend we are down there, people are stopping us and thanking us for all we are doing in the cemetery.
Dave has always shown how much he cares for his community and for people in general, whether by offering a hand or offering a job to someone who was having a hard time. Dave sees a person or an organization in need and always does what he can to help, most often investing both his own time and money. The Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, youth sports, community improvement projects - you name it and Dave has probably supported it in one way or another. I am proud to call him my friend, and I have no doubt, if he is elected, he will make an outstanding district judge."

Located on Delaware Drive, the rustic home of the Historical Society now has new flooring and new blinds, thanks to the generosity of folks like Dave Clark.
Dave Clark is so pleased to have the support of Hope Evangelical Free Church in Matamoras PA Pastor Butch Gilpin. It’s heartening to know that our community's leaders - politically OR spiritually - are standing with Dave Clark. Thank you, Pastor Gilpin, for your faith, friendship, and guidance.
-
Pastor Leonard “Butch” Gilpin, Hope Evangelical Free Church, Matamoras:
"I’ve come to know the entire Clark family very well since becoming pastor nine years ago, and I’ve always been heartened by the generosity of spirit each member has shown to those in need. Dave, specifically, is among the hardest working people I know, but still finds time for faith, family, and community. I think the people of Matamoras, Milford, and Westfall will be well-served by Dave as their district judge, as his integrity, understanding, and experience make him ideally suited to the role."
Thank you to the residents at Heritage Pointe for giving Dave Clark such a warm welcome recently. Dave has been putting in the work and putting himself out there, talking to community members about why he wants to serve as Magisterial District Judge and what he can bring to the table in this position. It's heartwarming to see so many people embrace his campaign and show their support.
Dave Clark would like to extend his gratitude to local business leaders Lyle Mitschele (president of Mitschele Contractors), Norman Dexter (owner of Lattimore Construction AND Matamoras Municipal Authority chairman), Carl Will (co-owner of McAteer & Will Estates), and Kevin Nearing (owner of Precision Landscaping AND a former local police officer) who have all voiced their support for his campaign for Magisterial District Judge. He is so grateful for all of your efforts and hopes to continue this energy through May 16 (and beyond). Thank you!
Dave Clark donated the money to purchase two benches along Pennsylvania Avenue in memory of long-time local residents Bob Potenza and Bob Tschudy upon their passing. The benches sit in front of 300 & 301 Pennsylvania Avenue, just two of SEVERAL buildings that Dave has worked hard to renovate in his continued effort to beautify Matamoras and showcase its charms.
We are grateful to Milford Borough Mayor Sean Strub for his strong support of Dave Clark's campaign to become your next District Judge. Sean has been a community leader and activist for decades, and knows what it takes to improve the lives of his neighbors. His cross-party endorsement means the world to Dave, who shares his unwavering commitment to this community.
-
Sean Strub, Milford Borough Mayor, Writer, Activist & Community Leader:
“I think Dave Clark will be a fine district magistrate, as he has the record of community service, temperament, objectivity, and sense of fairness the position requires. Even as I'm sure we might disagree on various issues, that doesn’t detract from my admiration for both Dave’s willingness to serve and the manner in which he serves. We need more people, from both parties, who can put partisanship aside in the performance of their public duties and seek to find ways to cooperate and provide mutual support, regardless of affiliation. In my view, that’s one of Dave’s strongest qualifications, because he’s demonstrated that ability. I am happy to support his campaign."
We are grateful to announce Dave Clark has been endorsed by Pete Sigreto, who served as Matamoras Borough Councilman alongside Dave for 10 years.
Together, they are credited with successfully securing grants and loans to advance vital community initiatives. We thank Pete for his steadfast support to elect Dave Clark as Magisterial District Judge!
“I worked closely with Dave for 10 years as a fellow council member in Matamoras. Through much of that time, Dave was the head of the Finance Committee while I was the head of the DPW Committee. Through our collective efforts, driven in large part by Dave’s financial background and dogged problem-solving skills, Matamoras received several grants to get a new rescue boat for the fire department and to install sidewalks, curbs, and light poles. We were also able to secure a new (to Matamoras) emergency response vehicle, a new mason dump truck, and a new garbage truck. Dave and I even worked out a deal (including the contract drafting) to share use of, and expenses related to, the garbage truck with Milford Borough. He will make a great district judge, and I am proud to support him.”
Pete Sigreto
Former Matamoras Borough Councilman
Despite the fact that his children have long since graduated from high school, Dave Clark has donated a portion of his salary as Matamoras Borough Councilman to a variety of athletic teams over the past 11 years, including the DV Swim Team, DV Cheerleaders, DV Girls Cross Country Team, and the DV Baseball Team.

In honor of all that Veterans have done to protect our country, Dave Clark invested his own property, time, and money in the development of the only Veterans cemetery in Pike County. Since then, Dave has added an impressive military flag display, accessible sidewalks, and a peaceful gazebo to Pine Grove Veterans Cemetery so that the families of our local heroes can honor their loved ones closer to home.
Our brave military men and women dedicate their days to protecting this great country, its citizens, and its values of liberty and freedom. Today, we express our gratitude and appreciation for all our military personnel (and special shout-out to Rachel, Dave's daughter who served in the U.S. Army!).
We thank Roy Hull, Dingmans Shooting Range Owner, for supporting Dave Clark in his campaign to become Magisterial District Judge. We appreciate Roy's efforts to spread the word that Dave Clark is the candidate we need to be our next District Judge!
To enforce the law, one must know the law. Don't let the Taxidermist Next Door label fool you; Dave Clark has studied the law and is more than qualified to serve as Magisterial District Judge.
In addition to taking numerous law courses (including Constitutional Law and Civil Law), he also served as a professor of commerce law for 5+ years! And of course, he's certified as a member of the Pennsylvania Unified Judicial System.
Today is the LAST DAY to register to vote before the primary. The outcome of this primary election may very well determine who will served as your next district judge. Your VOTE is your VOICE!
Happy birthday to my eldest daughter, Rachel! In her 36 years, she has accomplished so much, including serving in the U.S. Army and getting her master's degree in criminal justice. So proud of all you've accomplished!
