Today is Giving Tuesday, and we ask that you consider supporting the ministry of the Community of the Mother of Jesus. We are a vowed religious community in the monastic tradition of the Episcopal Church, with members across the US and into Canada. Your contributions help us extend our ministry to care for the neighbors in need, and allow our own members to gather together in prayer and spiritual development as we support the efforts of our own local parishes and diocese. Simply visit www.cmjreligious.org/support to learn more and thank you!

A prayer for the soul of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI:

Father, eternal shepherd,
hear the prayers of your people for your servant Benedict,
who governed your Church with love.

In your mercy, bring him with the flock once entrusted to his care
to the reward you have promised your faithful servants.

May he who faithfully administered the mysteries
of your forgiveness and love on earth,
rejoice with you for ever in heaven.
Amen
