The fact that God has brought us together is also evident to our families and friends, including pastor friends who know us both, our District and General Superintendents, as well as so many other Children’s Ministry leaders whom we have know throughout our ministries.
Jaimee and I invite you to listen to our story and renew our online friendships as we venture into this amazing journey God has started!!

What the Church Needs to Know about Covid-19 And What to Do About It
I know a smaller church in NE Florida (near Jacksonville) looking for a part time children’s pastor to come on board and help me build the church! There is a lot of flexibility and offers a great opportunity! You can reach out to me via PM!
So happy for and PROUD of my Father!! 50+ years of ministry.

Dear Children's Ministry Friends and Family,
This is the most difficult post I have ever shared with you.
Alisa and I started CMT in 1995 and have connected with 1,000s of wonderful leaders over the years. Most of the posts on our CMT FB page were made by her and have encouraged so many.
I cannot begin to describe the pain my heart is experiencing since my beautiful briide, Alisa Joy Hoffmann Linn, entered into the fullness of Christ's presence on July 4, 2019.
If you have already seen the comments from my personal page, or had the privilege to know her, then you can attest that she was a remarkable woman of God who emanated the very tenderness of God's grace and the beauty of His love.
If you never had the opportunity to meet her, I'd like to give you a glimpse into her life and the immense impact God worked through her humble spirit. Without a doubt, Alisa was a hidden jewel reflecting God's glory to all who were blessed to know her.
Alisa was born in Iron River, Michigan, February 20, 1964, and then raised in Delavan, Wi. She graduated valedictorian from Delavan-Darien High School in Delavan, Wi as well as valedictorian from Southeastern University, Lakeland, Fl, completing a 4-year bachelor’s degree in only 3 years!
She was a very skilled and talented writer who authored for Gospel Publishing House, Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, Charisma Life, and contributing author for Worship Leaders Magazine 2001. Her ministry was featured in a 1994 issue of the Pentecostal Evangel and also in FCM's May/June 1999 issue. Additionally, she personally created resources that have equipped 1,000s of churches, pastors and missionaries in over 40 countries that we know of. She was a conference speaker/trainer for state, regional, national and international events. Still, she was the most precious and sweet-spirited woman who deeply loved others as Christ loves them.
She also enjoyed and was very gifted at gardening, interior decorating, floral design and gourmet cooking.
I also want to share with you a portion of a letter I received from a pastor who was part of a ministry team Alisa led when he was a teen.
"In life, there are those who possess seemingly opposing qualities. There are those who are strong, yet maintain a humble, unassuming demeanor. Then, there are some who are hard-working while maintaining timeless grace and beauty. What’s more is that only a few can both demand perfection of themselves, while maintaining the patience required to nurture those they lead.
Miss Alisa, as I knew her, remarkably carried all of these traits with a grace that has rarely been seen.
She brought so much fun and joy to her life and work. Her sweet, calming presence was felt by anyone who followed her, it is still felt today. She was a wonderful gem of a person that, even though she did not look to be a star, left each person she encountered feeling that they could reach the stars.
As I remember, nearly half of our children’s team entered ministry as a direct result of her and Pastor Gary’s leadership. For me, it was on a Saturday workday that she was leading, in preparation for a large children’s event. I can still remember the exact place I told God I would be honored to serve Him for the rest of my life."
If you knew Alisa and are near Jacksonville, FL, I invite you to join us as we honor her in a memorial service on July 14, 3pm at Lighthouse, 43694 Ratliff Road, Callahan, FL.
In closing, I want to thank you in advance for your prayers as I walk this path. It is the most painful and challenging thing I have ever experienced. Yet, I am consistently experiencing God's grace each day.
Thank you! Alisa passionately enjoyed ministering with you here on FB!
