It was started by an Irish immigrant named Patrick Toole in 1872 the company was originally named Toole and Sons food Merchants. The company was successful by 1902 there were five of these stores in Gotham City in 1919 Patrick Toole died at age 72 he left the company in the hands of his eldest son named Thomas Toole he expanded it across the USA the outcome of the war in Europe severely affected the trading between Ireland and Gotham City in 1914. In the year 1918 when the war was at end the company was almost bankrupt Thomas could no longer handle the company and committed su***de at age 43 his other brother Rory took over. In 1925 the Wayne Family bought the company and changed it's name to Wayne Foods in 1956. It mainly focuses on high market end and specialty goods.
