We hit Conroe Friday morning and tried to beat the heat. Caught around 13 bass with the best 5 going around 14lbs. The bass we staged up on main lake points and were bitting on shakey heads and Carolina Rigg

We caught around 12 yesterday throwing 1/16oz jig heads combined with the lone star outdoors jerk shad. The sun set wasn’t bad either. www.lonestaroutdoors.net

The first 2023-2024 deep east Texas high school tournament was a success. Tarkington fishing team showed up and showed out. They had 3 teams turn in bass over 6lbs with the biggest weighing in at 8.55 lbs.
