SOST:Pakistan-China border at Khanjerav Pass, the border line connecting Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan with China's Xinjiang region, will be opened for trade and visits on Wednesday 5th April, 2017 according sosttoday reports.According to the standing protocol signed between China and Pakistan, the border opens on 1st of April and closes on 30th November every year.The Khunjerav Pass is the highest paved international border crossing in the world and the highest point on the Karakoram Highway. The roadway across the pass was completed in 1982.
This year in China celebrated Qingming Festival of 2017 falls on April 4. The holiday from April 2 to 4, 2017 is also a great time for spring outing. This year the border of Sino pak will open on 5th April 2017.
