Total Major Books = 9 Books with 66 Volume
The first part of 5 Books from Old Testament tells us the preparation that was made for Christ's coming. The Second part of 4 Books from New Testament tells us Christ's coming, His life and ministry, and the growth of the early Church.
The first five volumed of the Old Testament are called the Books of the Law ( Pentateuch in Greek Language, Torah in Hebrew Language ).

First Volumed called Genesis; the Book of Genesis tells us Creation and the establishment of the covenant relationship.
Second Volumed called Exodus; the book of Exodus recorded deliverance of the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt.
Thrid Volumed called Leviticus; the book of Leviticus teach us the Ceremonial Law.
Fourth Volumed called Numbers; the Book of Numbers recorded Wandering of God's people in the wilderness.
Fiveth Volumed called Deuteronomy; the book of Deuteronomy recorded the second giving of the law by moses before the people occupy the promised Land.
