Just another reminder for tonight, this is our final public appearance before our "retirement" in a few weeks. This evening will be bittersweet as it is the last time Jay, Rick and Ken will be performing together as the West on 66 acoustic trio. As we posted earlier in the week, life happens! We hope you can stop by Blue Ridge Seafood in Gainesville this evening between 7:00 and 10:00 in the Tiki Bar to say hi and "sit a spell" while we dish out the classic rock and country tunes that have served us so well over the last 4 years. Hope you can join us. Its been a good run!

As we ponder our respective futures and consider our various present circumstances, with mixed feelings we have decided to take an indefinite hiatus. We have had a GREAT time playing for you over the past five years! We’ve made some wonderful new friends, made the acquaintance of your many smiling faces, made music far and wide across Northern Virginia and beyond, and absolutely LOVED every minute of it. We hope that you’ve enjoyed us as much as we’ve enjoyed seeing each and every one of you.
West on 66 continues to evolve as a concept and we cannot say with certainty what the next stages will hold. Each of us wishes to express to all of you our undying thanks for your support over the last several years. You’ve made us feel welcome and appreciated wherever we’ve played, and for that we offer our sincerest gratitude.
We will be playing our final shows over the next 6 weeks and hope you’ll join us, not to say good-bye, but to enjoy a few more evenings together as we each continue traveling “West on 66”.

C'mon out to the Farmers' Market! Today from 11:30am to 2:00pm an acoustic gig at the Smart Markets Bristow Farmers' Market at Piney Branch Elementary School on Linton Hall Road in Bristow. We'll rock the tomatoes right off their vine, shake the peaches from their tree, and pickle those cucumbers with the classic rock you want to hear! Catch one of our last acoustic performances prior to our "retirement".

Programming note: Clyde's has advised us the outdoor patio is not available due to a wedding, but there are at least three great bar areas inside, so please find us, say hello, and enjoy some great food/drink and classic rock vibes! We are off this weekend, but will get back at it a week from today with an evening acoustic performance on the patio at Clyde's Willow Creek Farm in Broadlands, VA (571-209-1200). We had a great time last night playing the season opener of the Braemar Summer Concert Series in Bristow. Jay and Ken get things warmed up with a little PRS / Gibson duel on Dear Mr. Fantasy .
