I am excited to announce the GRAND OPENING of The Law Office of Jasmine Brunson, LLC. This has been a long time dream of mine and God has allowed me to go after this dream at this moment. This firm was created for entrepreneurs and creatives who need to form their businesses and protect their intellectual property.
I am very grateful to be in this position but I can’t help to think of the recent news of Breonna Taylor. The senseless shootings of unarmed Black lives is one of the very reasons I went to law school - to be a change agent in the system and to be a voice for the voiceless.
With this firm, I am on a mission to do just that. As we know, civil movements and grassroots organizations depend on financial support to move them forward. A strategic way we can invoke that change is through business and ownership! Working with entrepreneurs allows me to help business owners build generational wealth for their families and foster economic growth in our communities. I am happy and honored to help change the system and contribute to the world in this way.
So today, I celebrate my journey, my mentors, people who have supported me thus far, and all of the future business owners that will be birthed in 2020. I look forward to where God takes me and this business! 🥳❤️

This word is for me this week, lol. (And maybe for you too). I’ve somehow wiggled myself back into comfortability and found myself working out of emotions. And after looking at my results.…it shows 🥴 lol
No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. (Hebrews 12:11 NLT)
And I’ve seen this happen in my life. My greatest results and accomplishments came out of being disciplined. It wasn’t enjoyable in the moment, but it yielded the result I wanted!
So if you’ve found yourself off the course, it’s alright! Let’s get back on it and go get what’s ours! Happy Wednesday!

Diligent: constant in effort to accomplish something; attentive and persistent in doing anything.

Proverbs 10:4 has a way of: 1) snatching my edges 🥴 lol or 2) encouraging me to go after my assignment with constant effort and consistency.

This is your push to go after what God has placed in your heart. They can’t see your vision because He gave it to you!

Recently, the world has been looking real “if ain't one thing, its another”. (Shout out to my grandma for all the sayings, lol)
From the outcry of justice to the new normal of working from home and wearing a mask. It’s a lot to adjust to.
But you my friend, are still here and still standing! Can't nobody do it like you because there will NEVER be another you. Keep going and keep shining your light wherever you are!
I hope you can take some time to rest and bask in what you are grateful for. You are amazing. Remember that.

Today, I am reminded of the resiliency of my ancestors. I’m so thankful for their strategy, tenacity and activism. If not for their fight, I wouldn’t be where I am today! The world wouldn’t be the same without us!
Even in the midst of the fight, we STILL find a way to be proud of our being. We pray. We sing and dance. We laugh. We trail blaze and set trends. We find unity and strength in the most painful times.
And based on our track record, we will progress and America gone get this work! lol. Our ancestors have given us shoulders to stand on. The work isn’t over but let us be encouraged that they gave us so much to work with! And after their fight, change did come. As it will be for us.
I love you! Happy Juneteenth!✊🏾❤️
