Mobility & More is family owned and operated Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company in Loveland, CO that has been in operation since 2003. We are looking to hire two service technicians. The service technician is responsible for the face-to-face interaction with patients and our customers in our store, their homes and nursing facilities. You will also deliver medical equipment, supplies, provide instruction to patients and caregivers, perform designated service checks/repairs, and pick up/sanitize equipment. Mobility & More will provide service technician with a company vehicle, company cell phone, and benefits after a successful 30 day probation period. Pay will be determined by experience.

Qualifications:

- Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record.

- Prior medical equipment industry experience is preferred.

- Must be mechanically inclined. (company owned tools are provided, if needed)

- Must pass a background check & drug test.

Job Responsibilities:

- Transport, deliver, install, assemble, sanitize, inspect, and repair a wide variety of medical equipment. Educate patient/caregiver on proper use of equipment.

- Complete accurate and timely paperwork (delivery forms, sales orders, patient agreements, home safety assessments, delivery log, vehicle checklists, etc.)

- Drive a company provided vehicle in northern Colorado, sometimes for several hours a day.

- Properly wear PPE and abide by infection control and safety procedures.

- Maintain a clean and organized environment within the warehouse area, assisting with inventory needs as requested.

- Work collaboratively with all staff to ensure timely and professional outcomes for customers. Maintains a positive work environment to better the company, including suggestions for improvement and participating in quality improvement programs.

Physical Demands:

- Must be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.

- Requires standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling and reaching at arms length and overhead for prolonged periods.

Desired Skills:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills on phone and in person.

- Knowledge of computers and office equipment.

- Knowledge of basic electrical systems.

We are happy to announce that we have New Rental Knee Walkers!
As we strive to give our customers the best possible service, we are upgrading our rental fleet to include new Nova Knee Walkers. Features of this new product include adjustable knee pad and handlebar, dual hand brakes, folding handlebar for easy transportation, and a durable wire basket. Recommended user Height is approximately 4’11” to 6’2” and they have a weight capacity of 300 pounds. If you are in the market for a short-term alternative to crutches, this is a wonderful option. 2019 Redneck Ride: Riding For KK - Parkinson Association of the Rockies We are a group of family members riding in remembrance of our beloved KK (Kyleen Black) who passed away July 20th, 2019 and to raise awareness about Parkinson's.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce Mobility & More’s company president, Kyleen R. Black, passed away peacefully on July 20th 2019. Kyleen bravely battled Parkinson’s for 10 years and Lewy Body Dementia for nearly 4 years. She was the loving and devoted wife of Thomas (Tom) A. Black Sr. and together they shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. Tom & Kyleen founded Mobility & More in 2003. Our business currently employs 5 family members including Kyleen’s son, daughter, and grand children.
Kyleen is remembered by her family as being effortlessly extraordinary in life, and a truly outstanding matriarch. She was a woman of incredible determination, elegance, strength, and showed unconditional love to those around her. In spring of 2014, Mind & Body Magazine recognized Kyleen as one of the “Top 40 Northern Colorado Super Women” for her leadership, perseverance, and business achievements. Kyleen successfully remained President of Mobility & More until her passing.
We thank our loyal customers for their ongoing support and heartfelt condolences. In remembrance of Kyleen, donations may be made to The Parkinson’s Association of The Rockies or to the Redneck Ride for Parkinson’s team “Riding for KK” which is a local 24 mile bike ride that many of her family members will be participating in on August 25th.
