The weather is beginning to change and I’m excited to get back outside more regularly. Spartans in the men’s academy are beginning to get anxious to hit the links. I know how a good performance can lift the spirits and a poor one can lead to a little regret. If we are going to take the time to play golf, we might as well do it to the best of our abilities.

I have prescribed a short warm-up routine for all the golfers in the Spartan Lifestyle Program. This can be completed in 5-8 mins in the parking lot, on the range, or in the office before you call it a day to hit the club.

⚔️Spartan Lifestyle Men’s Academy⚔️ Week in Review! A financial professional realized that you can’t just listen and read personal development material to get results, you have to implement. We worked together on his call to identify some of his roadblocks to implementation. We decided he is going to schedule the day in 30 min blocks allowing for a 30min morning and 30min afternoon blocks to indulge in going down the rabbit hole of college football recruiting. Senior wrestler heading to the State Tournament, ready to move on to the next chapter of his sports career. He has his eyes set on D1 football. Wrestling has been something he’s enjoyed, but not as passionately as football. We talked about the opportunity to plant his flag with a championship. Setting the expectation in his mind that this tournament is a stepping stone to his dream, he was ready to go.! We work together 2x/week on recovery and mindset. Watch for him tonight in the finals!!! I try to make things simple. We work to build simple routines around Workouts, Nutrition, and Mindset that help us perform at our best. We are all athletes in some arena of our lives. Don’t think of this so much as your athletic ability, but more the mindset you bring to your professional arena in which you are leading a team. You’re also co-captain in your family. The example you set in your nutrition habits will go a long way in how your children form their beliefs around food. These are a couple of the men in the academy now. We do video reviews to help with technique, intensity and accountability around their workouts. It’s not a perfect system, but it’s worked in athletics since the invention of film. Send me a message and we can start a trial on Monday. At least you get a workout routine for a week.
