The Brain Chain
The Brain Chain is a page for TBI/ABI survivors and those who help support us:)
Dance as if no one is watching........nah, go ahead and peep these moves lol
This week was productive and a gut blow at the same time.I finally got to see a neurologist.I highly recommend Dr Ever man in Lexington.not only listened to me but immediately got in the ball with meds and testing .it's bittersweet to have the name of a diagnosis to learn to cope with.Tardiv Dyskinesia. Its validation for what I feel and I have hope now
Employment.lets talk about the hurdles and obstacles.
I have noticed that employers tend to only see the disability ( tics/etc) and not my potential.its dehumanizing, embarrassing and more than frustrating
Took myself on a punkin patch and craft date:) staff was very helpful and kind.they will have lots of free and fun things this month! GET IN THE SPOOKY SPIRIT !
How is everyone? Excited for fall/ Halloween?
Feeling much better:) I think most has ran it's course! I've been able to eat and do activities.im very greatful for your patience.let me start by sharing this inspiring story to get you motivated:)
