WHAT A WEEK WITH 🎉⚽️
From the intense pitch battles against Barclay Woman’s Super League (WSL) academies to soaking up Britain’s rich culture, the Mississippi State ladies made every moment count during their 8-day UK soccer tour! 🇬🇧💼✨
Upon touchdown in the UK, the group was immediately immersed in a proper football atmosphere, enjoying front-row action as clashed with Coventry City.
The following day brought a cultural foray through Camden Market and the excitement of the Women’s FA Cup Quarter Final, witnessing a gripping match between Manchester City and Spurs, the match unsettled after extra time went to PK’s! Does it get anymore exciting?🥶🔥🥶
Day four the girls enjoyed an exclusive experience at Adidas’s flagship store on Oxford Street. Afterwards they took the Thames cruise up the river, soaking up many historic sights along the way.
On the pitch, they secured a seriously impressive 2-1 victory over Ladies U21 team🔥🔥🔥. This was followed by another win against Wembley University Ladies and a celebratory Private Wembley Stadium tour with a feast at JRC Wembley Buffet following that evening.
The final days had the group marvelling at the town of Windsor & its castle, who can also forget the Friday night WSL Derby at Stamford Bridge? Chelsea running out 3-1 winners over Arsenal!
The following day A dominant win against Brighton Ladies U21’s further emphasised the team’s strength, one final hurrah took us to Craven Cottage to watch win 3-0 over Spurs.
We just want to say A huge thank you to the Mississippi State staff & players for the energy, sportsmanship, and memories during the tour. It was a pleasure to have you guys travel with us.
